Definitely one of the most consistently great and hard needle games that i've played. Majority of this game is really cool, my personal highlights - line needle stage (probably best line needle i've ever played), stage with moving blocks (this one is hella banger, despite one of the saves is really brutal), stage with funny buttons and pre-pre-last stage which is one big screen with many stuff going on
There was two saves tho that i kinda disliked and they were hardest saves in the game. One of them is last save of pre-last stage - for some reason it was really painful for me and i really didn't like that second half was much harder than first half here. And second save that i didn't truly enjoyed is last save of the game. While having great atmosphere and neat idea, i feel like the chosen sections are kinda disbalanced in bad way with only easy and hard screens, and nothing in between. So yeah, grinding that save was also not very enjoyable and quite frustrating sometimes
But it was still good game aside of this issues. As always, Mark created beatuiful atmosphere with mostly nice needle. This game felt more chaotic than Nebulous Thoughts for me and i think i prefer Nebulous more overall, but i would lie if i say April is not worth it. Play it, if you into hard and cool needle

This review is based on a 100% clear.
Very nice needle game, the needle isn't anything too crazy but it's fun, pretty heavy usage of vines which is cool to see. The pathing can be pretty neat which really gets highlighted in the final stage, which was a pretty good conclusion. The extra stuff is kinda weird and out of place, it's just random needle screens ending in a 3 screen long save, it's all fine, I think it's worse than the main game but it's still fun. If you haven't played this game you probably should at some point.

Trap is not interesting but not very bad.

Really fun gimmick needle stuff, each stage has it's own sets of gimmicks and they play pretty different, in part because they are all made by different makers. The middle two stages with jump refreshers and disappearing water 1 were pretty good, but the real highlights for me were the Pastel Spikes stage and the Low Gravity stage, both of which felt clever in how they used their mechanics and were a blast to play because of how fresh they feel in every screen. The final screen in particular is such a great culmination of the games ideas that feels incredibly natural, it's awesome. Highly recommend this if you are into this kind of gimmick needle, it's really well made.
