Overall I liked this game. Platforming (just two screens) consists of bunch of triggers and not so hard jumps. I really loved the music choice and the avoidance-miniboss after the first screen. It has a very cool idea of trapping you in several rooms on the screen and then throwing at you different types of attacks. The final avoidance that goes after the second needle screen may seem pretty crappy now. But I pretty much enjoyed it tho the last three attacks are very RNG based and insanely hard imo. The music (it slaps) in it doesn't restart if you die so you can listen to it completely.

Played this years ago then stopped at Mario Kart for some reason (maybe I found it too difficult?).
Came back again for FSR and was concerned I might not like it but was surprised that it was a great time. Last several stages and bosses were unfortunately misses for different reasons each but still a good game.

This review is based on a 100% clear, although it doesn't impact my rating.
This game is definitely very messy, but like with most Cyber games I really believe there's a lot of charm here, it's definitely not the kind of game that you'd expect to see anything like in the current era of fangame making, and in that regard the game serves as almost a time capsule. It's very simple, the traps are somewhat repetitive although surprisingly never overbearing, and a handful were genuinely funny. The bosses are kinda where the game shines, they are so out there, especially the Mario fight which has earned legendary status at this point, but the real centerpiece of the game is the taisa, and it deserves to be. I genuinely think this fight is good, while the mapping is kinda nonexistent in places, the fight does a really good job of building intensity and the attacks are honestly fun and creative at times, even if the balance throughout is a little all over the place. I think it makes for something that's pretty engaging and definitely impressive for the time. It's not going to be for everyone, but for what it is I think Black is honestly pretty cool.
