Extremely strong needle game, I think the first area is the weakest but after that it's banger after banger, the highlights for me were the CN3 stage which is a beautiful tribute and the final stage which had tons of variety and the last screen especially was awesome in my opinion, maybe my favorite in the game. Love the whole thing, it's clear all the makers put their all in this and made something super high quality.

Kirwy is an old adventure game that hasn't aged the best. The platforming is pretty charming for the most part, and it being alone would improve the game. The final stage is an actually quite cool metroidvania. The bosses are another story. They are all far too long, with a couple of them being the same three attacks for FIVE loops. This standard is actually flipped for the water stage. I found this platforming to be quite bad, with one abhorrent save with a fuck ton of mashing required. The boss to this stage actually varies, and as such is a good step up. The final boss is also pretty decent, although the beginning is too slow and boring for how long it is.

avoidance is somewhat well made, i found it quite fun. first half is mainly pattern while the 2nd half is mainly rng. final is by far the hardest part and the early patterns can be somewhat annoying to learn. other than that i'd recommend it.
needle isn't very notable other than the fact save 2 is harder than the entire rest of the screen

This review is based on a clear of the game + the extra stage
Corridor needle game, the needle is about as basic as you could get, there's really only one screen that stands out in the main game because how many corners it has. It's not the worst, it definitely goes on for an excessively long time and is super boring but I think the harder screens are somewhat engaging. If you choose to do the extra I think it's mostly alright, but the first save of screen 3 is abominable, it's really bad and annoying because of an annoying start, super inconsistent drop in the middle, and chokable ending. I still think extra improved the experience but it was unfortunate how much time was spent on that save, it's so much harder than the rest of the game. Besides that if you would enjoy this kind of needle it's probably a pretty good game, but for me I just think it lacks something to get me hooked on the experience.
