For: I wanna be far from home
Far From Home is a fun game that's focused on vine and water jumps, that tend to be a bit precision oriented. Of course, as expected from Plasma, the biggest draw is the aesthetics, which are quite enjoyable. The shaky black voids, and patchwork nature of the stages, is a really evocative feeling that adds a lot to the game.
In terms of gameplay, this game shows off really impressive pathing, using vines and water to go in circles around screens, often revisiting areas you've been to before but now with a double jump available. The maneuvers required are usually pretty fun, traversing the game feels usually very smooth. Of course, there is also frequent focus on precision, particularly the kind of jumps where you will find yourself falling just a bit short. This mixes up the formula, making the game feel less samey than if it was pure vine pathing. I would argue it goes a bit too far sometimes, the max height jump into water at the start of an easy save is fine, the second one in the middle of a more difficult save was a bit of a low point.
Overall, definitely a game I can recommend to skilled needle players, particularly those who enjoy pathing needle and good aesthetics.

For: I wanna be the Immature Life
An avoidance which has more than earned it's praise, Immature Life is a beautiful fight which mostly leans into simplicity, the visuals are basic but not to a fault, it looks very clean, and the attacks are not too hard to understand at a glance. Within this shell however is a wonderfully varied and fun game, no two attacks feel exactly the same, whether they be the various patterns throughout the fight or the RNG attacks which can sometimes require you to develop the ability to tell exactly how to read certain situations. It leads to a game which has a very nice learning curve which feels amazing to get better at, definitely one of the most satisfying avoidances I've ever played. The only faults I could have are that not every attack in the first half is that good, and some of the RNG can be a bit unbalanced, this was very rarely a problem though. I love this game, one of my favorite avoidances.
