Generally speaking, I am not a huge fan of the uhuhu style/genre of needle, but this game was actually quite good. The needle flowed really well and had practically no rough spots.

Bit heavy on the fulljumps but the needle is very relaxing overall, has some smooth movements and really cool yet simple trigger usage.

Honestly the buffs are kinda questionable, some saves are super free and then the first save took me 2,100 almost half of what the entire game took me to beat

Very nice avoidance which contains a practice mode so that you can practice each part of the avoidance, which makes it much more accessible to everyone. While it's true that some attacks are noticeably more difficult than others, it's nothing that makes the gameplay experience worse. I had a great time playing this game.

Great game in which I liked especially the design of some rooms and the use of gimmicks in them, although not all the rooms I liked equally, being my least favorite the ones that are of pure needle, finding in them some jumps that were quite difficult for me

Out of any game to try and reimagine Uhuhu Spike in modern ways, Nukeru manages to be my absolute favorite. If you consider Wolfiexe's Dandy games to be a good improvement on the style, then like me you might consider this to be the start of a third generation. Like previous works, Nukeru has the interesting spike placement that always makes you feel relaxed and comfortable, whilst it manages to keep itself smooth by having no out-of-place saves, an issue some of those earlier titles have.
What Nukeru does differently however is what I think brings this sub-genre to its pinnacle: the addition of moving spikes. This subtle change to the formula makes it feel like this is truly a modern release because it immediately makes the others feel highly outdated now. The way triggers operate as well feels brand new in comparison to some of the usage in the Dandies, even including some interesting timed segments. There's also a fall in the game that is really cool to perform even though it is simple. These little details have made such an enormous change to the style, that I think this is what the future of Uhuhu-Likes should be. If it is, then I really am looking forward to more.
This is probably one of my favorite needle games, I would absolutely recommend it.
