For: I Wanna Catch the Clown

This is a very charming game with such a unique feel and style to it that you really can't help but smile when you play it (unless you're some kinda weirdo...)

I love the variety in the level themes, gimmicks, and gameplay. The game itself is relatively short but it still feels like a full package. There are some items you can collect along the way for an extra challenge but you don't need them to beat the game. And of course there's the driving segment, which is one of my favorite "time for something completely different" moments in recent fangame memory.

Also, for anyone out there who may have used the old versions of game maker, there's lots of references and easter eggs in here for you to enjoy. Most of the assets (I think) are borrowed from the stock library of game maker 1.0, which is a really fun idea for a game. There are also some genuinely impressive visual effects throughout the game that only enhanced the notion that I was playing something truly special.

Renex, you're one of a kind. I can't wait to see what else you have in store!

For: I Wanna Go On A Magical Adventure - Game Jam Demo

A nice, short little magic tower style game with a cool metroidvania-style twist where you gain elemental weapons along the way. It's also got a few other neat things, like the ability to slide on the ground and "checkpoint" blocks that heal you to full health. The latter is especially useful, as anyone who's played a magic tower game knows that you usually have to reset on every enemy until you kill it without taking any hits. Not here though!

For: I Wanna WandWandWand

An excellent successor to RandRandRand. It introduces a cute little wand gimmick that shuffles between a random set of cool spells you can cast to help yourself navigate a maze of randomly generated spikes. It's a nice bite-sized little game and it's just a lot of fun to play. Recommended for all ages. May contain sharp objects.
