Not to be confused with Po4ti's game of the same name: https://delicious-fruit.com/ratings/game_details.php?id=19302
A really...odd game. At first, you'll find yourself running around through modifications of the default engine rooms, or other rooms that are just terribly put-together, with really jank water physics at one point as well. Other times, you'll be facing off against avoidance bosses that tend to repeat a lot of attacks from each other, and so many projectiles that the game will start to lag. Throughout the entirety of the game, you can expect to find—and I jest you not at this moment—a whole 19 of these, and they absolutely need to be seen to be believed. From the incredible mess that is some of the attacks, to the variety of arena layouts, to the flashing effect that engulfs the screen in some bosses (Rin being the absolute worst of these), this game is truly a one-of-a-kind experience you can't get from other fangames. The game is unfortunately unfinished as of now, with no real ending (every boss sends you back to the beginning of the game). However, I'd still suggest giving this game a try if that sounds like your jam. If it ends up being too much for you to stomach, Zero's playlist is readily available here: [edit: no it's not anymore, thanks a lot Gaspaco >:(]
Worth noting, Rin is actually impossible to beat, since the platform carries you to a death border at the end, and there's not enough time for the warp to get anywhere close for you to reach it. However, the game gives you items in the folder whenever you beat any boss, regardless of if you actually leave the room in one piece. For that reason, I won't put the tag.

Rating based on Hard Mode, which was the required difficulty for the I Wanna Tourney.
It's a short adventure game with a boss at the end, and mainly focuses on two gimmicks which you encounter pretty quickly in. For the most part, it's decent, if you're willing to have something that runs heavy on the Needle side. The visuals are also done well and show off Rossiter's cartoony vibe that he previously demonstrated in NANC 2.
However, I do think the game has a few shortcomings that lessen the experience, especially on the hard difficulty. First, specifically for Hard mode, it felt as if spikes had just been placed randomly Cultured 1 Bifficult style, and only made things a bit more obnoxious; personally I recommend playing the game on Medium as I think the Tourney's Hard requirement was a wrong move. There's also a moment in the game where you have to use the first gimmick sideways, and it felt way too finicky to use correctly. Finally, I was especially disappointed by the boss entirely, it utilizes the second gimmick in an interesting way but then fails to deliver the premise by having player killers bounce around the room; I think this attack should just be removed in exchange for more focus on the actual gimmick.
Overall, it's decent, but don't play it on hard if you want a more enjoyable experience.

A cute and fun jtool-ish needle with heavy and mostly satisfying implementation of default gimmicks: vines, water, etc.. In particular I feel like the vine usage was a little egregious at parts, but there are some really fun setups and re-uses of the level elements that make you think in interesting ways as well as lengthening the execution test for individual jumps in a not exhausting way. In particular I enjoyed the use of water as a slow-fall and re-using vines from different positions with or without double jumps.
The tileset is green and pink/red, and the needles have strawberries on them. The song is j-pop and pretty enjoyable even on a few loops. There are quite a few screens despite the relatively simple concepts and execution. A lot of symmetrical screens, which I enjoyed, but will of course vary by preference. Had a great time with this one.

A charmingly aesthetic needle game with small to medium-sized stages with minor implementation of normal gimmicks (vines/platform/water/etc.). The stages feel a bit 'jtool-ish' but in a good way, and most of the jumps are very satisfying, both in isolation and in the context of a larger save. Possibly the game overall is too short, or possibly it is just the right length. The background and tileset gave a very 'submersed in chronomancy' feel that was right up my alley. Basically great and a hard recommendation to any needle players.

It's an interesting exploration of how precision needle is like with double speed.
Fun fact: the shortest shift press required is 20-30 ms if you cactus a bit of a higher cancel for the final save instead of going for the lowest.
