One of my favorite games I have played so far. An incredible effort by MrWonderful throughout. It is a fairly lengthy game and the production quality is top notch. In particular, the music selection is fantastic. The bosses are fun, the platforming is interesting, and it never feels like it drags on. The only reason I can't give it 10/10 is because I feel like some mistakes were made in the water tower and the difficulty curve can be a touch wonky at times. Overall though, this was an amazing experience and I would HIGHLY recommend this game to just about anybody.

This was a very easy game. Beginners shouldn't have a problem playing thru it and the avoidance at the end is easy.

A pretty mixed bag.
There's some save balance issues, with some specific jumps/sections standing out as especially awkward.
I was personally not of a fan of the vine usage especially, some jumps seem a bit bruh for controller players. Harder jumps tend to be later in the save too. I still think the needle has it's charm and is quite fun at times though.
Where the game does really get fun though is at its boss. It requires a bit of thinking and is pretty satisfying to do. Maybe you won't like it as much if you dont like the original, but i found it to be slightly faster paced.

This game has some interesting jumps but visuals could have been much improved I think.
Needle design itself looks somewhat dirty while the actual gameplay feels okay.
Would give this slightly higher rating if visuals were better.
