Despite being fairly short in length, I Wanna Feel the Colours still manages to eke out a fair bit of fun from just a few screens of needle and a small avoidance. The visuals are lovely (though rather bright) and the vibes are peaceful, making this a great 15-30 minute adventure.
The needle is not that difficult, though there are some tough bits here and there, and the same can be said of the avoidance (any experienced avoidance player would likely first try it, in fact). There's some pretty interesting jumps here and there, but nothing is downright generic. Even basic named jumps are put to pretty good use. As for the avoidance, it's simplistic but a great bit of fun to play through, being too easy to offer up any real difficulty in clearing, but just hard enough to not be a total pushover or too boring to play through.
Give this one a go if you like Nogard games, you won't be disappointed.

I feel torn about this game because the previous to last stage was a horrible experience to me while for very similar reason the last stage felt very cool and satisfying to play.
Let's first start by talking about the things other than the needle.
The game is very chill, as in the music is soothing and the visual match that. with an added bonus that the last stage music (which is a 4-5 screen long save) share parts of the melody with the title screen music, overall the graphical coherence and the music was really nice, the only issue with the graphics is that every stage has it's own particle effect ranging from cute and good to pretty hectic and annoying.
So for the needle my biggest gripe is how most of the screen (and all of them for the red stage/next to last stage) have an awkward drop with a weirdly timed double jump. There are also a bunch of intuitive maneuver, they are sometimes cool but sometimes they feels pretty awkward. The next to last stage (especially the last couple of screen) was the least enjoyable, Every screen felt very similar to the previous one with a bunch of F jump the staple awkward drop and filler jumps in no particular order (with a heavy tendencies of putting the drop at the end).
And then the last stage begins, it's a couple screen long save, This stage does have a fair amount of big drop but none of them feel nearly as bad or precise timing wise compared to the previous stage. The biggest thing is that the emphasis on long drop that were previously an issue aren't in this stage. It's pretty easy since the difficulty is based around the length of the save but it feels very different from the previous stage despite relying on Full jump and big drop just like the previous stage, This stage was really enjoyable and I might pull myself through the rest of the game just to play that save again.
TL;DR, Decent needle game but way too many big awkward drop and Full jump things, with the next to last stage being the biggest offender and the last stage taking all of this and making something wonderful with it.
