Find my Butthole is a really wacky gimmick needle game with some funny traps. I found all the traps and jokes to be really funny, but the platforming left something to be desired. The gimmicks do not really lend themselves to the precision required by a lot of jumps, making the game an exercise in frustration, rather than an exploration of wacky mechanics.

Peppermint Dandy is a fun needle game in the style of the uhuhu spike games. It makes a lot of improvements over the source material, creating a lot of interesting jumps without the awkward precision and bad save balance uhuhu is known for. The game makes good use of multi-screen segments, and the big rooms make it stand out.
Overall, a pretty fun game that I would recommend, although it's also not anything particularly memorable.

I think this is what precision needle should strive to be. All the jumps are unique, and they push you into different movements. It also barely uses low jumps, instead creating interesting stuff with varying heights. The low difficulty also makes it approachable, and I'm glad the game didn't ruin itself trying to be hard.
I would absolutely recommend this game to needle fans looking to try out something that leans into precision a bit more, while remaining pretty easy.

For: I wanna uplift the needle
Uplift is probably the game that best replicates the Neon style, that is not itself part of the Neon series. It has really fun jumps, and a lot of variety. The two stages manage to feel pretty distinct, so the game never really got boring. Silhouette spike always enable some interesting spike formations, and this game uses them well, creating some really fun needle.
This game is one I hear frequently as a recommendation for intermediate players, and I certainly second that. It's a fun game, introducing some difficulty while remaining approachable for people with a bit of experience.

Very uninteresting fangame overall but if you put in the 3 minutes it takes to beat this you will probably get a laugh from it.

It's a tricky avoidance with a fun conceit of screen/view fuckery. I definitely recommend giving it a shot, but don't seriously commit to it unless you want to be annoyed. Basically it's funny if you're good, infuriating if you aren't.
