Some of the design in this game is cool, but it's mostly just a reminder of how annoying 32px needle is. Hope you enjoy dying from rejumping one frame too late/early or from jumping one frame too high/low, because that's the entire range of the difficulty on display here.
Ironically, I found the final screen to be much better designed than the rest of the game, but it's also a lot harder, so people who aren't used to grinding long saves should probably not even bother.

If the grayscale stage, grayscale boss needle trial stage and first guy tower stage got nerfed/tweaked a bit, this game would have a 9+. Everything else is excellent.

Funny avoidance where you have 1000 hp (meaning you can get hit during 1000 frames). It's probably one of the most beautiful and crazy looking barrage I have seen, making a version with hp is a good way to show it to ppl who are not able to play the normal game (and I believe the normal game is very hard). It's not free at all, I finish it with 36hp left but it's not that hard once you know which pattern you have to avoid to keep your hp so you should give it a try.
The only grip I had is the hit sound being really loud and because you will hear it a lot, it ruins a bit the music.

This is an L game that you shouldn't just immediately reroll past. Not sure what jumps some reviewers believe you need to 1f or cancel to get through, but you don't.

Reminded me of an easier Abducted. It has a similar atmosphere and simple platforming that requires you collect orbs throughout the game to get to the ending. They aren't overly difficult to find, but can be confusing as to which ones you're missing. When I made it to the last area I had missed 1 that I had to go back and find. Other than that, pretty good game.
