(Disclaimer: I got the password for this game online without actually finding the secret in PYF because I’m lazy)
Rukito’s first ever game, and it shows. It’s actually quite interesting because you can basically see him get more of a grasp of game making as the game progresses. The platforming ranges from pretty ok to kinda frustrating, although there really isn’t much ever going on.
The boss, however....
Jesus fucking Christ, the boss. He has three attacks, two of which are rng. First one are blue cherries, you can shoot them but he shoots them every second so usually you can’t keep up, and you might accidentally hit him. Well, wouldn’t hitting him be a good thing?? NOT REALLY because he shoots a pretty fast cherry at you once you land a hit, and that can throw you off if you’re not ready. The last attack is just spikes falling randomly from the ceiling, not too bad until near the end of the fight when they start becoming way faster, which can ruin a good run. You just need a lot of luck and you should make it.
All in all, I had fun with it. Don’t be like me if you play this game, unless you’re doing a challenge or something clearing the boss isn’t worth it.

I found the needle to be very smooth. Also the dotkid was some good shit. The whole game was a blast to play and probably the closest a non gimmick needle game has gotten to a ten for me.

This game does a great job capturing the style of tethys. I also definitely prefer this over it, since it fixes the big problem i had with tethys, that being the random saves that are way harder than the rest. The only save i didn't like was the one with the many bonk jumps, it's a very awkward screen.
Very fun and could recommend.
