xiaoyang, the (unofficial) disciple of sunlaoqq, known for his famous Sheep 100, makes a short game for beginners, and for the greatest of measures, uses the song Flower Dance by DJ Okawari once again and makes a truly smooth, gratifying, pretty needle experience, that made me say "awww noooo" when it ended so suddenly. I wouldn't even mind a 100F experience of this sort.

Not much to add. I recommend it for a walk through the (flower) park if you're going for the Medium mode, which there's nothing wrong about doing that.

This game being too short is a huge disappointment in the "good way" I guess, because you really end up wishing for much more :'(

For: I wanna trial the simple needle
Uhm. Picture this. One guy learns about the basic jumps required in all fangames: gates, dropping gates, f-jumps, horizontal gates, diagonals, droppig diagonals, corners, TAS, diamonds, double diamonds, sphincters... Heck, you name it. Then, he decides what jumps are difficult for a beginner to execute, and decides that diamonds, double diamonds and sphincters are difficult. He leaves corners because, hey, you will face corners a lot in the future. There is even a save with TWO corners! He also nerfs TAS jumps by moving the spike some pixels to the left if you're coming from the right. What to do for the common and difficult but not-so-difficult jumps? Place a save after each one. That way you will make it more playable for beginners.

Beginners, without prior knowledge, will try to do the corners in the way they will guess best when there is actually an align (or two) for each one, or even a setup where you just do a full jump and fall right through. This is easy for experienced players, but not for beginners, and might be puzzled at the average difficulty rating of this game. It's such a mess in difficulty curve also that I am surprised.

The saving grace is the avoidance. If you have ever been afraid of avoidances, you can start with the one featured at the end of the game. It is "optional". The atmosphere finally pays off and it is quite nice. Ironically, it is also much, much easier than the needle. So what is the point? It eludes me.

For the note, if you're an experienced player, be warned that one-frame jumps do not exist in this game because screw them. There is a gate jump with blocks at both sides of the spikes conforming the gate. There are two ways to get past it, correct? 1) Bump your head with the first upper block, go through the gate and make another tiny quick jump. 2) Cancel-jump through it. I am in a level where I feel confident to do option two. Then something happens: I suddenly suck at cancelling. Why? Is my PC lagging? Has my keyboard given up? No. They simply don't exist. That really wouldn't harm the gameplay IF YOU DIDN'T PUT SUGGESTIVE JUMPS IN IT!

Oh well. Drastic lows and a couple of ups. I don't recommend this unless you want to know the most basic and generic needle jumps you will face throughout in your fangame journey.

P.S. The game over music is meant to be funny, but I highly disliked the contrast. Also, I would never imagine complaining this in a fangame, lol, but the kid dies exploding in blood (no, really!). Jokes aside, given the graphics and visuals, I would have appreciated another death animation. The game over music just makes everything worse.

I will be unfortunately picky about this one. The graphics are particularly not of my taste. They have a Castlevania-like feel to it from the NES era (which is good), but it harms gameplay, because it makes the spike sprites confusing at times being of a very similar color than the background. The game has gates (not gate jumps, but like, actual gates) that harm the visibility of the spikes because why not. Also, you find out the bad way that the blue pillars are walls; then you find out also the bad way that you can actually step on them when previously the top of all blue pillars had a block on them. Then, with this logic, you assume all pillars are walls, but no. You have to read the maker's mind that a darker (brownish) pillar means you can walk through it.

The soundtrack is nice, but it is absolutely unrelated with the style of game. It just doesn't fit. Got nothing against Dubstep-like music, so those that hate it, beware.

However, being a relatively short game, there is brain behind the level design, that which resembles sunlaoqq when he makes quality puzzles. It does shine at that department. Also, jumps, while generic most of the times, make it clear that this is meant to train beginners. Difficulty curve is a total mess; it doesn't go from easiest to most difficult (the last screen was actually trivial beyond belief), but there are ups and downs in difficulty throughout. Granted, when making mazes, it is difficult to keep that balance, but again, sunlaoqq knows how to make this deal amazingly.

However, it is widely recommended for beginners looking into making more challenging needle jumps while thinking of a precise route without being overtly complicated/confusing.

For: I Wanna Be the Piyopiyo Trap
The game which is made made by the same guy who made I wanna Giripossible (well, at least Google translate writes that both 白いヒヨコ and 白いひよこ pronounces as Shiroi hiyoko), and which (if I recall correctly) screen is also used in I wanna Giripossible as a background picture . The game consists of 4 obligatory stages, which are required for the main clear and which is obligatory in rules of K3 Storm Peak challenge, and of several stages of extra, which I haven't played yet, but if I do clear it, then I will update my review. For now review and ratings are based on normal clear on version 1.45, which I believe is the newest one. This game also has easy mode, but I won't give comparison about it this time, because I haven't played it yet.

As you start you will notice that game has creative stage rush room design, but if you die, you will also notice that game has restarting music, which is a huge problem here and I think sometimes it just gives ruined feeling and just makes the whole experience worse that the game actually is.

I started with upper-left stage, since style of blocks seemed similar to me. Sadly, I started with the worst stage possible. This stage's gimmick is that you have 1 save and you have to clear 2 screens in a row. And the funniest thing is that first 2 screens were also used in I Wanna Kill The Kamilia 3 (and also I wanna Giripossible). Those 2 screens are pretty easy, but I think more original are some other screens in this area, however this stage is just not even worthy to be chosen in other games, I don't really know what it forgot there. Boss is very easy (I managed to first try it), however quite long and depends also from RNG. Idea is pretty interesting though. If you beat this are, then you may actually start enjoying this game, because I even dropped on this stage, because I found it unfun and unoriginal.

Then I chosen path on the right, and it was quite OK stage. Stage involves several gimmicks with colorful blocks. You will find ice block gimmick, killer block gimmick, several annoyingly-generic and some pretty original traps, and also toggling on and off with triggers blocks. I liked toggling on and off idea and puzzles made from it. I hated some ice block ideas and traps which you have to avoid in weird trajectory. Some traps were original, but I couldn't enjoy it, since restarting music was really annoying here. Also, I think it is one of the hardest stages in the game. Boss, on other hand, was very original and unique. Idea to toggle on and off different blocks to make yourself benefits of spaming was very original and made the whole experience very fun and memorable. My favorite boss in the game.

If you go down and then left you will get to very unusual area. Luck-based area, where you have to guess where to go. It may look quite whimsical, but actually is quite fun. And I wouldn't call that too hard or anything. Boss idea is very unusual. You will have dice man, which you have to shoot and then you have to go to random needle trial. Boss gets harder and harder, so you have to be also quite lucky. Luckily I got pretty easy needle and didn't have many problems, so I could enjoy this boss. Also, thanks, I Wanna Be the Piyopiyo Trap , because otherwise there wouldn't be random dice used in I Wanna Kill The Kamilia 3!

The last stage is designed as different standart windows app screens. You will meet Music player, Skype, Card game zone and other. Many of these screens seemed very original and unique especially ones at the end, even though some saves were quite precise, in my opinion, but some traps quite generic and annoying. For the boss, we have... Windows logo! Oh, excuse me! Wondows! Yes, creator called it like that in title. Anyway, boss itself was original and fun. It has quite original layout and unusual set of attacks, even though attacks may seem simplistic. It isn't so hard, even though may seem quite challenging at the end.

And then you have unlocked portal, which leads to the credits, but after that there opens news transition and more content... But that is extra, so what does it means? That review is going to be continue some day...

But for now conclusion! To sum up, this was very quetsionable game. Some segments were very fun, especially most of the bosses, and I liked how gimmicks were built in this game, since it made stages look very unique and fun to play. I disliked idea of upper-left zone and I didn't enjoy several saves on upper-right zone though. Also restarting music is very huge problem and does not make experience more fun. But still, even if you don't play this game because of K3 Storm Peak challenge, I would still suggest this game for anyone to give a chance, unless you are very beginner player (which is the reason to play easy version?). It has fun content to try. Would recommend.

Avoidance game made by Kefey, which is also the most famous his game among his other famous works, like I wanna Design, I wanna be the Forehead, I wanna be the Forehead 2, I wanna be the Biotope and others. Also this is probably one of the easiest games made by this creator.

Avoidance itself has several easy attacks, which all have pretty slow speed. Pattenrsare easy to find out and RNG very easy to read. Maybe sometimes it is unobvious what kills you and what not, but I don't think it is a problem of this avoidance. Visuals are simplistic, but I think it does not make avoidance worse, even though it may seem quite generic. Avoidance uses ローリンガール soundtrack and it fits well. I wouldn't call that this is something too special, but if you want easy avoidance to try, then this may be good choicefor both experienced and beginner players! Would recommend.
