An older adventure style game that really still holds up. Possibly the best example of simple but good around. Tilesets are simple and static, bosses are almost all fruit and most assets are straight out of the engine.
However, it implements a number of interesting gimmicks, giving each stage an identity and despite being incredibly simplistic, the bosses all play very different from one another. You're not going to be visually wowed and the restarting music is kind of a drag, but the gameplay here is mostly solid. The backtracking/repeating does get a bit tedious at times, but it levels out as the game goes on nicely. Another concern is that the difficult labeling is somewhat misleading compared to other fangames and just in general and its probably recommended to do easy/normal for a first playthrough. I ended up selecting normal/normal and while its certainly not a huge problem, the save removal approach to difficulty ends up being questionable as usual and some segments were kind of a mess.
Overall if you like adventure games and don't care about eye candy, its absolutely worth playing. There's a lot of inspiration to be had here for makers as the variety is superb but it feels like a little more could be done with many parts of it. Absolutely recommended for anyone who likes a mellow adventure game.

After replaying it a year after my first playthrough and with the english mode this time, I thought I needed to rewrite my review.
Weird adventure game with 4 stages and bosses. Gameplay is mostly gimmick oriented with some neat ideas and a good execution overall. Some goes for bosses, excepting the first one which is very basic and not very interesting, they are creative and enjoyable.
It has also some funny traps in the last stage and a sort of inventory where you can switch items you collect through the game. There is also a story and this time I was able to understand it thanks to the english mode, but honestly it's not very good, very confusing and end in a very abrupt way.
A good adventure game overall with a pretty good difficulty balance, would recommend.

Красиво сделанная игра, спасибо за ретро уровни, всплакнул. Замечания, конечно, тоже есть. Во-первых, надо исправлять баги с последним боссом, когда проваливаешься сквозь текстуры на оранжевом шаре на второй стадии, очень бесили, хоть и встречались всего 2 раза, но всегда в неподходящий момент. И вопрос, почему поставил 8.5 балла - объясню, полбалла сниму за последнюю форму, знаю, на любителя, но всё же в босса хочется пострелять, а не эвойдденсить. Еще полбалла за то что нет настройки управления и последний уровень с шипами, понимаю, что может и фича по сюжету, но сюжета, по сути как такого и нет, это лишнее. И еще полбалла за то, что первая форма уж очень затянутая, парни, я все понимаю, но все же тратить 7 часов своей жизни на патерны и прочее, лучше посвятить жизни. Да, это Бошеподобная игра, но и она была гуманнее, по крайней мере по времени, без обид. А так, парни молодцы, спасибо им за игру, красавцы, надеюсь учтут все во второй части и выдадут нам шедевр!

Two white & black screens, the second is the first but buffed. The game isn't hard.
i got a missing room error when i jumped in the portal on screen 2 -.-
If you reach the end portal, quit and restart, the game skips the selection screen and loads your save,
but only once. Not sure what's the purpose of that.
