For: I wanna be the Metamorphosis
(I played this game in May 2016. It was slightly above my skill level at that time.)
I had an alright time with this game. I found the traps to mostly be a bunch of “gotcha” moments that you could avoid if you were checking everything for traps, but then you’d get reversed trapped sometimes instead. There were at least 5 traps per save, and you would die to most of them when you first see them. Some of them were witty or funny, like leading the player to troll themselves with a corner, but these felt few and far between.
Normally restarting music is ok, but to this extent it got old. I’d actually forgotten some stages had non-restarting until recently due to how much I heard some songs repeat.
The mechanics in the stages were cool, but were also overpowered by either the sheer volume of traps, or them being placed at the end of long segments.
I really enjoyed the bosses, the infamous lakitu one got a little tedious but was still mostly enjoyable.
I actually planned on taking a break from this game when I first played it and continuing another day as it was getting tiring, but I got quite a bit of “No! Keep playing!” in chat while I was streaming, so I thought I’d keep going as people watching were enjoying it a lot more than I was.
Then I savelocked from a warp bug 9 hours in.

Rating and review are based on clear on medium difficulty ( platforming cleared on version 1.1, but boss on v. 1.3. ( reason I will tell later ).
Awesome 50 floor game, with different and awesome gimmicks, relaxing music and with 2 nice bossfights. Every floor have its special gimmick and at the end there are some floors, which combains gimmicks together. Game has very unique and interesting interface and is interesting to play!
Bossfights are very easy, however strangely, but last boss was very laggy for me on version 1.1. , so if you have not the best pc as me, then play on version 1.3. (it is not very hard to find it on web too)
Overall, very decent game, which I definitely recommend for everyone!
