Extremely funny fangame where you are supposed to be the test player, and the game "codes itself" as you progress through it. Explains a lot of games that are on the wiki nowadays, actually. I also found out that I would be a terrible boss designer. And I am still laughing at the Secret 5 stage.
That being said, the jokes are all fangame-related, so if you don't know too much about the fangame world, I would save this game for later. Other than that, it's a really amazing game, one of the funniest I've ever played. Highly recommended.

Boring bosses, lots of generic traps, horrible level design, horrible ideas for platforming. There was one trigger that actually made me laugh, but other than that, this was extremely uninteresting. Wouldn't recommend.

Interesting needle game that is very unique in many ways. Sent by a guy who claims to be a member from the Blue Sky Studios, this is either, a very well-made troll or actually a game made by a very famous studio. I don't know which one would be more impressive.
The first noticeable thing in this game are the visuals. They are cartoon-ish, and very detailed, far different from the standard pixelated fangame stuff. The developer(s) also made sure that we would notice them, as the game is extremely zoomed-in.
The physics are also different. The kid's jumps are lower and the gravity is weaker, which helps a lot when you're falling since you can't see too far ahead. They work very well with the zoomed-in game. Actually, the whole game is designed in a way to not make this gimmick annoying at all.
The musics are also very cool. They are remixes of musics from the original game, with a melodic tone. There's no death sound either, which makes things even better.
It's a fairly short game, but quite well-made and interesting. Would recommend.

For: I wanna enjoy the Birthday of King 2
Review updated as of 2021. My old review was too loaded with feelings (of hatred) to provide enough feedback for the maker OR to the players.
This is...still pretty bad. “I wanna Enjoy the Birthday of King 2” is a needle/trap hybrid that was originally intended to be an update for the original but ended up becoming a game on its own. According to the readme, there are 4 troll screens, 2 needle screens and 3 troll and needle screens, for a total of three stages. Shouldn't be too bad.
The first stage is the trap stage and, honestly, I’m kinda torn between liking and disliking it. The thing is, this stage has a HUGE amount of traps, and the vast majority of them consists of flying spikes and fake blocks. However, while many of these traps feel like they are just there to kill you once, some of them are integrated well into the platforming, requiring super precise maneuvers that add to the difficulty. They would be fun...but the flying spikes are still there, and there are SO MANY of them. And then, there’s save 3, which is obnoxious for an entirely different reason: The mini-spike gauntlet. Unlike the others, save 3 is absolutely disgusting, with no redeeming factors. However, stage 1 as a whole is actually kinda interesting.
The second stage is pure needle...with a couple triggers, but nothing that could be called a trap. The problem here is that most of the jumps are really generic, and several saves leave their hardest segment for the end. It’s just bad needle design, from start to finish.
Stage 3 is the reason why my rating is so low. The thing is, on paper, this stage is not bad. It’s an extremely difficult needle/trap hybrid full of backtracking, which is why I called this stage’s design ‘happilous’. The thing is, that’s not the problem with this stage. I can’t use that as a negative point, specially since Crimson Needle 3 (a relatively well received needle game) apparently has a similar stage near the end. The problems with the third stage are the omnipresence of generic jumps, no matter where you look, the horrendous difficulty balance (see mini-F in the middle of a save) and the traps that make us rush jumps that normally require patience and preparation. It’s one thing to grind, say, “I wanna be the Nightmare” and its dozens of different difficult jumps, with no soul-crushing traps at the end of the save. It’s another thing to keep grinding the same jumps over and over, all of which are known named jumps that are annoying to execute, with traps that keep making us do everything all over again. Generic needle with traps is ten times as bad. Traps which, as you would expect, are classic generic flying spikes (That DO play a role in making the platforming harder every now and then, but more often than not just exist to be annoying). The two hardest saves are also the worst. One of them includes the same mini-spike gauntlet that made stage 1 save 3 horrendous, but now you need to do it twice, and there’s a mini-F and a double diamond in the middle of the save. The other includes a double invert followed by a 1.5 invert and then a normal invert. I don’t think many people would say that they enjoy double inverts. I could be wrong, but I really don’t think so. Stage 3 remains obnoxious, not just because it’s insanely difficult, but because it’s an insanely difficult, generic, poorly balanced and generally unfun stage with traps to boot.
And that’s the end. I wasted 16 days playing this so that you wouldn't have to. Please, don't. Highly not recommended. Just...Stay away.

This is so bad that it's ridiculous.
Originally intended to be an update for the first Birthday of King, this is basically a longer and harder version of the previous game. According to the readme, there are 4 troll screens, 2 needle screens and 3 troll and needle screens. Shouldn't be too bad.
The troll screens have a stupid amount of traps, most of them generic/repetitive, but there were some funny traps and overall the stage isn't too bad. The needle screens are tricky, but decent. The hybrid screens are what heavily boosted the game's difficulty and took away like 5 points of this rating. It's like the maker decided that using Happil 2's style of level design was an amazing idea, and started spreading stupid jumps everywhere. There's even a save with a double invert and a 1.5 invert. I simply can't believe that this game managed to get this stupid. I wonder if the maker even bothered with getting someone to test this. And if he did, I wonder how could anyone test this and say that it was alright and that the maker didn't have to change ANYTHING at all.

A nice adventure game by the guy who made go across the rainbow (as you most likely will notice when you play it). Even though it has gimmicks and trolls that have been done before the game manages to execute them fairly well regardless. It is nothing new but it is still kind of refreshing to play in this era of bad needle games.
Would recommend.
