An abstract surrealist dark humour themed masterpiece that can only be described as art.

Great visuals and music completely wasted on a dull and boring design that can be boiled down to rooms full of corner and ledge jumps. A complete waste of of visual talent. The unexplainable fixation on corner jumps ruins yet another game. What's the point in making 20 rooms when you are using the same jumps over and over again. If this is the limit of creativity, stop making games.

I love the game, it has some visuals problems (for example glow on top of spikes is cut), but overall it's beautiful level design, solid music choice and interesting jumps. It has few strange difficulty curve problems in the opening area, but it's awesome!

10 screens of vines, it's okay. But memorable.

Probably my favorite medley game, and for good reasons. This game goes far beyond any other medley game when it comes to screen changes. Some of the best examples are Play the Catastrophe's screen and Gap 2's screen, both of them having...Interesting surprises that you probably won't see anywhere else. Even when the changes are only about changing spike and trap placements, they're still brilliant. The traps are quite simplistic, but they're very well-placed, being actual platforming elements at some points, rather than just troll-ish stuff. The changes regarding the spike placement remove many boring jumps (Thanks for the nerfs on DP's screen), replacing them with simpler jumps that don't require any tricky/annoying maneuvering. Thanks to these changes, all the medley screens in the game are extremely enjoyable.
After a couple medley stages, there is the original stage. It's a very well-designed and enjoyabe needle stage, with impressive visuals and cool music along with lots of interesting jumps and fair save placement. All you could ask for in a needle stage.
The bosses are quite cool, too, although they share some issues regarding attacks that might give you impossible RNG. The first boss is very well-made and good-looking, and aside from the occasional impossible RNG for the rocks, it's quite fair too. The second boss is also really cool gameplay-wise, but the more I look at it, the more I think of it as a joke boss that I don't understand.
While fighting against the last boss, I made a list of complaints to insert in this review, but on a second look, they could be all solved with a simple change in the boss: Showing the actual hitboxes of the projectiles. It doesn't make any sense, sometimes the bullet clearly touched me, but I'm alive, and then I try to do it again, and it kills me. The huge spheric touhou projectiles with small hitboxes are particularly annoying with that, figuring out the exact hitbox of those things is completely unreasonable, but if you don't, you'll have to rely on your luck to not get hit. The attack with the lasers is another one, the lasers' hitboxes disappear, but the sprites continue there for 2 more seconds. How is anyone even supposed to figure out when will the lasers actually hit you? Just show me what am I actually trying to avoid, please...
Other than these small issues with the bosses, it's a really enjoyable medley game, and one of the very few fangames that I might play over and over again, just for the fun of it. Highly recommended.
