Most of the content of the game is just generic needle, though few areas are pretty okay.
Neos area boss has potential but definitely needs some balance fixes and shorten the time between the attacks. The guest stage "platforming" is not exactly great to play because of the timing precision that is required to beat it.
Renko area didnt look bad but it would have been better without the traps.
Slendy puzzle area has an interesting concept, personally I am not much into puzzle stuff but still this stage felt okay to play.
And about Guille and Mauri stages, they should know already in 2017 that corridor/common jumps needle will make players not want to play their stages

Avoidance. Pretty learny and most things will insta-gib if you cant see them coming. Has a neat mode that allows two hits instead of one. Not bad, but there are better avoidances.

This would have been tossed into your recycle bin pretty fast had it released 5 years ago.

About 10 screens of pure 32px grid needle with mostly short saves and moderate precision. Overall the level design is really solid with a lot of changeups mixing in the typical platform jumping/water/vine mechanics. Good aesthetics round it out to make it a great game for what it is - a straightforward no frills needle experience.

Disclaimer: I didn't actually beat the boss, but I did get to the last phase and after it went on way too long and I blew it and gave up, I decompiled to determine it was the last phase and that nothing changes and it just has an absurd amount of hp for no reason.
This is a one boss game with a Crimson feel to it. It basically takes everything Crimson does wrong and makes it worse.
Randomly generated platforms, almost all attacks are retaliatory meaning it punishes active play. Way too much hp and incredibly repetitive. In the end either you get bored because it has too much hp and make a mistake, or you get impatient and take too much risk.
Now for what it does worse it does unimaginably horribly. Firstly, for some reason that cannot be fathomed when you're in the air and moving left you're moving at half speed. This is unbelievably stupid. Have fun dodging with that. Secondly, in the final phase, each attack spawns two projectiles that look very similar to the annoying particle effects spawning directly below you except they kill you. And it has 70 hp for that phase alone. So 140 chances of random instagib.
Don't play this for your own sake.

This was a better than expected needle game for me given the name and the style of needle. The maker actually has a lot of interesting segments that mix in vines, platform jumping, and water. The segments are pretty short and reasonable. Maybe a needle god wouldn't like it as much, but I think if you are practicing these types of mechanics in needle, this game would be great for you since it allows you to get a handle on these types of mechanics in bite-size segments.

It's a collab game where each maker has his own stage. The production is nice enough for most of them, but they are all over the place in terms of quality. One stage is just falling in a pit while shooting buttons, while some of the others are just generic needle.
The one saving grace about this game is the KingSlendy puzzle area. He clearly put a lot more effort into his stage than the other guys and it shows. It's a well produced puzzle stage with an easy to learn gimmick that gets used in very creative ways. This area and gimmick should have probably been spun off into its own game and it would have joined the likes of Crimson Kids and Design. Instead it's bundled with these other stages that either did not put a lot of effort in or are mundane needle.
If you like puzzle stuff, you might want to check it out just to mess with this area, but for me the rest of the games stages fell pretty flat for me.

A true experience of invisible block mazes and some of the most hottest gimmicks 2015 had to offer like trial and error mazes, screen transition spike memes, seizure giving backgrounds and other classics.
Only the best bosses made it in this game. There is a wide variety of bosses, youve got bosses that aim at you, teleport all over the place and bosses with so much health you start wondering why youre alive after you started the 20th minute of spamming.
Would recommend to everybody who wants a true fangaming experience!

I Wanna be the AO places the player in a pretty familiar situation, much like most games; a few screens of needle followed by a really fun and easyish avoidance over one of my favorite SDVX songs Alpha Omega. The game itself is nothing special and aside from a few jumps, its not really original. However, I still enjoyed playing it and would recommend to anyone looking for a chill game to play.
Platforming:
Decently difficult. The first screen sets the bar a bit too high compared to the rest of the game and definitely took me longer than the rest of the platforming. Style is pretty vanilla with only spikes and 2 yellow fruit so it's nothing special. A few corners here and there, a charlie skip, and a few hard drops are the highest it gets. Otherwise, it shouldn't take veteran players long and intermediate players should spend close to 20-30 minutes on it. Save balance is great with nothing too long or short excluding the last screen. Overall, decently done.
Avoidance:
Very fun. Fight consists of RNG with a few aimed attacks and one or two patterns. Since the fight is primarily RNG, it will test consistency and ability to read. The emphasis lies with reading since most attacks come from multiple angles, usually from one source (a ceiling and right wall bye the bye-like attack for example. Reading also gets tested with the aimed bursts, since you are placed near the ceiling. It can get pretty cluttered but it's not too bad if you're experienced. Other than that, I cannot remember anything else pertaining to critiques; the fight is honestly the highlight of the game. Plus Alpha Omega is SourPls x100
Aesthetics:
Game looks okay in terms of platforming and avoidance. Once again, it's nothing special. Projectiles take the entrance look, which I've come to love, makes the fight look cooler for some reason. Music choices were fantastic. Overall, aesthetically magnificent. No criticisms.
Overall rating:
Great game. It's a bit too vanilla with the platforming and avoidance since there are plently of games with the same format and nothing really sticks out that would make it special, but I still enjoyed it. Once again, would recommend to any player looking for a chill game that won't take much time.
