In true Marimario style, Find the Guy is an anime-themed adventure game with a fairly heavy emphasis on triggers and traps, alongside some lovable rascals in the form of boss fights.

The game features many different stages, most of which carry a similar style of platforming. There are however a few exceptions which mix up the visual style quite drastically, referencing older games and utilising some nice little gimmicks here and there. Despite not being a giant fan of trap-heavy platforming, I had a good time with most of it. The bosses were also nice and different, with none of them reaching too far in difficulty.

I'd probably recommend looking up the solution to the first question of the quiz stage, as unless you're good enough at Japanese you'll have a hard time getting the answer (if you need the answer, it's お試し. It's only the first question that goes across languages though, and the rest are all fair enough to figure out with a bit of head scratching.

If you're looking a pleasant little adventure leaning on the trap side of things then you'll probably have some fun with this.

Really fun and well-made trigger-heavy fangame. It's made in an anime-ish style that includes some storyline (Not in english. Meh), an opening theme and some in-game stuff. There are also lots of stages and bosses themed on other fangames and non-fangames. Funny traps, enjoyable bosses, visuals range from decent to quite cool, musics are nice and the stages feel quite different from each other, most of them being interesting on their own way. Everything is mostly fair and very enjoyable, and I have almost no complaints about this game. However, the only complaint I have is a really heavy one, and takes away a lot of points from this game: The quiz stage. Quiz stages are a terrible idea by standart. They become even worse if you can't understand the instructions. But they reach a whole new level of ridiculousness once they force you to actually type the answer, and the answer is in japanese. This is easily the worst quiz stage I've ever seen in a fangame.
That being said, the quiz stage is very close to the end, so there's a lot to enjoy up to that point. If you don't bother with not having finished a fangame, I'd recommend playing this one up to the quiz part and stopping there. Trying to find the answers is simply not worth it, since all that is left afterwards is a boss that forces you to fight against all the previous bosses in the game, with some slight changes. It's enjoyable, but nothing particularly impressive, and definitely not worth the effort.
