Compared to what developers make now, this is really bad if it would be a fangame. BUT, as an original game it's pretty good. It's very old, laggy, has 10/10 perfect physics, implemented perfect hitboxes and physics, which is VERY great. Technically very messy, has a lot of elements and references to other old retro games, fun traps, great character design and graphics on the original side. I mean the save thingy, the guy, the kid, spikes, delicious fruit, it doen't get old, even though it's a joke made in mspaint. Now it might seem very boring, but it doesn't make it worse. The traps are funny and necessary, i really loved the final boss, it is very funny. This game is a fun challenge for people who don't usually play fangames or only start them. The multimedia crashing is annoying.

I'm extremely biased here because I think trap games are extremely boring, but the platforming and traps didn't take up a lot of the game. The boss fights are basically all just massive cutscenes with a few inputs here and there. They're incredibly boring. Dracula fight was alright though.

If the remake of this gets finished then this would absolutely be recommended, but as for now the physics are a bit clunky and it's very prone to crashing (just set it to Windows 95 in compatability mode). It's still a very good game which started it all but I just can't really go back to this game anymore even when it has some of the best platforming for an adventure game.
It also features 6 optional secret items which unlock a boss rush, but you can just unlock it by Reveal Spoiler
