What an outstanding game
the final boss is a bit of a difficulty spike but I absolutely loved it, I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys high production value fangames
It's got a different engine but it feels smooth and controls well and it feels greatly replayable, final boss is one of the best bosses i've fought

This is definitely one of my favorite needle platformers. The first game is lacking and imo you can skip it and not be missing much, but this game is so well-polished and well-designed I just love it. I wouldn't have spent 70 minutes fighting boss #5 if I didn't.
The good:
* Tight and clever level/puzzle design
* Great bosses - not to knock on avoidance, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the variety this game has to offer
* Great presentation
* Polish
The not so good:
* because of the different kid sprite size, the hit detection can feel a bit jank at times
* the final boss is a miserable experience
* the item shop is designed too heavily for NG+ and assumes you will play the game front-to-back several times. You can get coins faster with better ranks, but to see any meaningful advantage, you pretty much have to play several times or spend hours farming A/S ranks out of a boss you're good at fighting. Obviously it's good to reward NG+, but in a single playthrough, the player has basically no reason to interact with the shop at all.
I think 60 is a fair difficulty rating. It's a good deal harder than IWBTG, but it doesn't come near Boshy's difficulty, even factoring in the final boss. Though there is a lunatic difficulty that buffs the level design and bosses up to quite possibly the 90's
