I am suprised at the reception of this game. Sure, it is a very weak delivery, effectively described as a mix between good and bad ideas. Truth to be told, I say all of them are good ideas with most of them horribly executed. Difficulty curve is an apocalyptic mess (the first area is significantly harder than the rest of the areas), and half of the bosses are even worse (Mario will give you nightmares in much more than two ways). It seems more like a collab than like a single effort, and that could be used as a compliment. Quality is shockingly inconsistent and seeking the hidden items is practically useless.

I have always loathed the trap subgenre and this is no exception, but my younger brother just saw me play my first blind playthrough and he was laughing his soul off, especially during the Kirby section, at almost every troll I got. I must admit a few were genuinely funny. Half of the times, I did feel in a Game Boy or Game Boy Color game. The game saves the best for last and the last boss rush, despite an obvious and non-creative troll joke, is not so bad to experience. It is the whole preceeding rest the one that is quite horrendous.

But don't tell me that the Conquer the Blow Game trilogy is better than this. This game is better than the three combined. There are more memorable moments here than in those games. I Wanna See the Moon is ranked marginally lower than this game in my book (my reasons for hating that classic have been well developed). It is quite bad, but before watching the average rating, I was expecting the worse thing ever. It wasn't. It's just a mess with more bad than good. The opening screen, for some bizarre reason, has been referenced endless times, like the Plan 9 From Outer Space of fangames. It's fine. That screen has been reinvented more times in troll ways than I can remember. It's not a bad screen really if you really enjoy trap games except for a very frame-precise trigger near the save.

This left a legacy behind, not to mention one of the most famous memes by Chilean fangame legend Vardoc. I wouldn't revisit it, but I wasn't bored. I Wanna enjoy the Game was boring. Extremely. I still have nausea from it.

So not the worst most famous fangame out there, and I don't FULLY regret playing this. Now I know what everyone was talking about, including fangame developers, and it was worth it.

An old but fun game.
has many differently themed stages, really fun to see speed-runs of.

There are some interesting concepts, such as the stage with the tunnels. Sometimes the game trolls you in a funny way (Very rare). And some of the stages actually look good, really reminding you of a GB game. Few. And these are all the good things I can name about this game.
Traps are mostly generic, and most saves are so filled with them you don't even get to enjoy the platforming (A platforming that could be decent at some points). Water works like infinite jumping (Doesn't slow you down when you're falling), which makes me wonder how much does this Kid weigh. And that would still make a decent game, if it weren't for the bosses.
Bosses are always about mashing (Not including the chase), and since their HP is kinda high, this is very exhausting. Just to name some of them, we have: A bouncing Mario that attacks you with a rain of RNG bouncing cherries, plus more RNG bouncing cherries when you attack him, and he adds spikes to the fun if his HP is low; A laughing face that becomes a fist and connects his attacks in so many annoying ways that getting impossible/very hard to avoid RNG is almost casual; The last boss, with three phases: GB, GBA and NDS. It's all at once, glitchy, annoying, repetitive, boring, hard to learn, confusing, bad-looking, and overall made in the worst possible way.
All the bosses are bad-looking, and some of them are extremely glitchy (GB/GBA/NDS isn't the only one). Even Tribute was more enjoyable than this. Highly not recommended.

It's old and I find most of the game to be annoying. Bad bosses and lots of booby traps. Just skip it.
