A nice medium length adventure game. Establishes and follows a straightforward formula and executes it well.
The platforming throughout the majority of the game is quite interesting - focusing on a gimmick or two per stage - and the secrets are implemented in a pretty good way, encouraging the player to look around a bit but not being hidden in a stupid way - especially given they're required to really beat the game. The extra stage was the worst looking and least interesting with no gimmicks, though, which was an unfortunate way to go. On the other hand, the boss was probably the best which definitely makes it worthwhile. Bosses are pretty rng heavy and not too long, though some mashing ability is expected.
As someone who isn't a fan of how avoidance is implemented in most adventure games, I enjoyed the final one in this quite a bit. The music choice plays into that, though that's subjective, as its instrumental with a nice peak. Additionally, it fits in well difficulty-wise as though its the longest boss by a good margin, it feels easier and more fair to balance it out.
All in all, this is worth playing for anyone looking for a solid adventure game of moderate difficulty and length.

Shark learned a lot making Jump the Shark 1, and it really shows here in the sequel. Everything, including production value, difficulty curve, and level/boss design were greatly improved.
The early and mid parts of this game are fun, but things become even better once you reach the final stage. The needle is great and the final boss is a rewarding experience for any player who reaches it.
I recommend this game to all, though newer players should expect a challenge.

Really fun and really well-made needle game. There are 3 stages (Not including the last stage), each stage having a set of specific gimmicks related to the stage's theme. These gimmicks are combined with straight needle to give the game some variety, and the game succeeds perfectly on that: There aren't two saves alike. There are also secret-ish coins you can collect to unlock the last stage (Which the game doesn't really consider an extra stage), which consists of some screens of really fun and creative straight needle, and might have been my favorite part of the game. These coins are really well-placed, which means that you can find them with no big effort if you pay close attention to the screens. You can easily keep track of the coins you need to collect at each stage, since the main hub shows how many coins are available at each section of the stage, and if you still miss a coin, you can always go back to the main hub by pressing F3 and try to collect the coin again. Also, there are checkpoints at specific points of each stage, so if you go back to the main hub, you won't have to do the whole stage again to reach the section you want. Visuals are amazing, musics are cool, death sound is low.
The bosses are quite cool, too. They are really cool-looking and most of them are fun to play (Scythe being the exception), peaking with one of the best-looking avoidances I've ever seen. There are also mini-bosses at the three first stages. Gameplay-wise, they aren't anything life-changing, but one or two of them have some interesting concepts.
It's just an amazing game overall. Would recommend.

I've yet to finish the game, but it's so fun I felt like I needed to review it already. This game is a great blend of needle and gimmicks. The bosses are also super fun. I'm not a boss guy but I find myself enjoying the bosses and wanting to retry them when I die. I will update when I finish the game, but as it stands it's a great game. Definitely recommended.
