FUCKERBALL is a work by the great mind Tesla, a testament to the power of video games not only as a source of entertainment, but of art itself. FUCKERBALL has you control the titular character FUCKERBALL, a small (FUCKER)ball with big (FUCKER)dreams. The game plays as your standard platformer game, where you must dodge spikes, rocks, and skulls in an attempt to get to the warp portal. What is FUCKERBALL's purpose? That is for you to find out.

FUCKERBALL is a work of art in more ways than one, it's an exibition of beautiful art. Throughout the game I had to stop just to take in the beautiful sights scattered throughout all of the game. From the breathtaking (and blue) opening screens to the tense trials of the skullmaze (still very blue) I was shocked, stunned, disgusted, and many, many more emotions. It's truly a testiment to what passion and love can do when someone truly cares about the art they produce.

The music is amazing as well, boasting what could be 8 songs which you can choose at will. A brave choice, I know, but one that completely paid off. And they don't loop really makes you cherish the time you spend hearing it, which ties directly into the theme of the game itself (which, don't worry, I will get into).

The gameplay is almost too sublime to put into words, pitch perfect platforming which is so fluid even those who have never even seen a controller before can hop right in and start having a blast. You have a jump, a double jump, and you can move around on the ground or in mid air. So little, but at the same time, so much. Not only that, but FUCKERBALL's difficulty is perfect, easing you into gameplay by making you repeat the same room 5 times and then throwing you directly into the dangerous skullmaze. The difficulty curve is a bit stange, but in the end it works in the benifet of the game.

The story of FUCKERBALL is a tragic one, a story of a (FUCKER)ball so blinded by his own thrist for revenge that he seeks to kill the one who murdered his father. It will take you through many twists, turns, friendships, romances, and everything in between. It will challenge you morally, mentally, and much much more. It will take you a while to understand, maybe even decades, but one day you'll be able to say "I understand". But in the mean time, savour it.

FUCKERBALL has so much content that I could spend days listing it here, my first playthrough (of 12) clocked in at around 229 hours. And that was just for the main story mode. Not counting the multiplayer, extra stories, DLC, etc., FUCKERBALL will truly give you something to chew on for years.

all in all the game fucking sucks

An amazing concept floor game that turns the entire genre on its head. While this game uses the "real music" the genre is best known for it also uses many unconventional design & aesthetic choices such as invisible floor numbers, heavy use of cycles with enemies that are kill-able, unashamed use of hard named jumps like 9 jumps and double diamonds and creative avoidances that creatively use platforming and shooting.

While most concept floor games are introspective in their message, fuckerball aims to analyze society itself. Throughout you can find messages of the fear of death represented by the skulls, the greed of society causing deaths represented by the generators that make said skulls, an avoidance that tells of the struggles to keep friends happy, a room of tanks that sends a strong anti-war message, and many more thought-provoking rooms await you in this intriguing adventure!

If you think fangames can be a medium for expressing meaningful art than I strongly urge checking out this masterpiece, Tesla really made a name for himself with this one.

The fact that this game even exists is baffling. I'm pretty sure I reached the END screen after what I can only assume was some sort of Extra stage after the final boss but who knows, there could be something more if I end up waiting 45 hours. The game does that quite a few times: you'll have to sit through the russian national anthem twice amongst other things if you want this clear. And the game isn't easy either: there's some really difficult platforming in here, especially since you can't see your hitbox well cause you're a circle with a kid hitbox. There's a fair amount of good stuff, especially on the enemy side, but there's way too much legitimate garbage in here as well to make it worth playing. Maybe with friends (although our save on Online got fucked after the first boss so maybe watch out for that)

The final boss was honestly not bad, I can see why it got made into its own game

I can't be certain that I beat this game, but I took a warp that went to an empty screen where nothing happened for a long time. Now, you may be thinking that sounds like it. However, this game is literally designed to waste your time so its hard to say. There are numerous unskippable 15-30-45s periods of literally nothing and one (thankfully) skippable segment that goes on for minutes at the start of rooms/saves for seemingly no reason. Also I don't remember any screens where the mouse is required like the creator says, so I'm really not sure but don't care enough to find out anymore.

This feels like a poor attempt at a Sudoku game, since no one can actually think wasting that much time is a good idea.

Basically, the kid sprite is a ball (hitbox seems the same). There's a lot of tedious shooting segments, a lot of standing around, a weird other ball gimmick where you control with u/d/l/r (with bad hitboxes). The only traps are screen transition ganks, which you should expect every single screen.

Honestly, there's a few decently creative segments in here but its mixed with tedious copy/paste rooms, complete wastes of time, lots of standing around, dumb cycles, softlock risks, invisible mazes and everything else you can do wrong.
