A game that pokes fun at RNG, reinventing many gimmicks in a unique way. Paradoxically, the game's best idea is also its major flaw, and I honestly struggled a lot to find a difficulty rating that makes sense. I think the RNG is pretty well balanced, but in the segments where it isn't, it quickly becomes unfair and annoying. For example, my successful attempt in the jump height RNG floor took me several minutes because of how inconsistent some sections are, such as the top left corner.

A collection of interesting ideas that get bundled together into a failed experiment, particularly due to generally annoying design and an overload of frustrating saves.

There's always been something interesting about RandRandRand, the difficulty is almost always based on your random generation, you can reset a lot until the screen is pretty easy if you wish. Randventure falls short of this by being difficult no matter what, and it has created a pretty uncomfortable experience that made me want to stop playing multiple times. The main downfall in my eyes is that a lot of it feels like the gimmick has been applied to some awful #jtool screen, the last RNG Save in Room 25 is a good example of this. The random speed room was probably one of the worst things I've ever done in a fangame, especially since you don't get a save before the ending. In general, I think this really struggles from not having more saves, and that the overall difficulty of the game just completely ruined my playthrough.

The idea of randomness is always fun to see in a fangame, but this is one I sadly would not recommend unless you are fairly good at fangames.
