I originally dropped it in the early game because it was too hard and frustrating for me. Review based on day 1 patch, I know it's not the lattest version and hope many points in this review will be solved.
Interesting game when everything can be randomized, for the better and for the worse. It has some good ideas, I really liked the keypick screen, the tribute part and floor 31 in overall, but it has too much frustrating shit to end up in a positive experience. I'm gonna be franck : firstly, floor 21 shouldn't even exist and is extremely unfun, or at least should have another save. I almost dropped it a second time at this floor. Then, the game is too hard. I'm not a very good player (like 70-75 is the best I can achieve) but that kind of game is supposed to be funny by throwing unexpected random things at you, and the fact that it can create bullshit stuff is a part of the fun. That kind of game is always on the extreme line between fun and frustrating and what makes this one tend to the frustrating side is the difficulty. So making things like saves that can say nope is a terrible idea. I could make a list like the bottom left avoidance of 31f is very hard and unfun, 20f and that kind of floors is a good idea in theory but end up being floors where you just reroll until you have the roll you prefer, I couldn't stand 10s music so I had to mute the game, gimmicks that prevent you to see your character aren't fun, gimmicks that randomly mess with your physics aren't fun, the last part of the flyingspike screen is too hard and makes the screen just frustrating considering how long it is.
There's still some good stuff so I can't really give a bad rating, but it really needs to be patched imo. 70 in difficulty is mainly for 21f.
