Game was fun, just a few problems that I found annoying.
I did not play the original but, the first 2 stages were fun then it just got annoying with all the bad ends to saves, which just made me replay the save for no reason. Boss was fun but yellow into purple is a little messed up, could have made the attacks pick at random to fix this but its really not that big of a deal tbh.

The sneeze has finally come! Somewhat, anyways.
This is a modified version of I Wanna be the Matryoshka, a Rukito-like by Dono with bosses from KittyGame. I liked that game a fair bit, but always found it to be rather problematic in several different areas. This game sets out to improve on the original by making it overall easier and removing all the bosses and changing the final boss. Ultimately, I think this was a pretty successful upgrade!
There are still some irritating jumps, and some of the nerfs actually kill interesting saves at times, but for the most part this was a far smoother experience. Every stage has something offer and felt enjoyable to play through, though the final stage had most of the problem saves (this was the same in the original as well, though it's still better here).
I personally didn't have much issue with most of the bosses from Matryoshka, but I don't necessarily mind their extrication. Nonetheless, the final boss is actually pretty good, being a Destination-like. It's a bit simplistic and pretty easy, but I still had a fun time beating it.
Overall, this is easily recommended for lovers of the Rukito-like genre or people that just want themselves a good needle game with light gimmicks.

Pretty good needle with cycles, triggers, and a few basic gimmicks. There's some neat platforming, but also unfortunately the design feels quite slow-paced, especially if you find yourself dying repeatedly near the end of a section. This becomes a rather notable issue on a few outlier saves, difficulty-wise.
The boss at the end is pretty chill, and feels appropriately difficult relative to the platforming. It only took a few tries, and I suck at bosses—especially Destination-style ones. The attacks were pretty neat, except for the white phase, which just made me wonder why it existed at all if that's the attack that was chosen.
