A long term fangame project of mine that took around 1.5 years to complete. Started off as a simple tsutashin parody but turned out to be way different to my original vision (which is not bad!!!). The main challenge with working on a game for this long was dealing with the stress that came from _not_ working on it. You feel a great urge to keep making but you know that you shouldn't even attempt it. I got burned out several times because of this, but to me, it didn't affect the final product. It took longer than I envisioned but I still got to make what I wanted.
So what is this game about? Meeting Miki of course! But you don't know who Miki is. So you work hard to make it to Miki by collecting these weird looking... orbs? They seem to lend you a path to the skies which is mighty ominous, but also drags you towards it!
You traverse through surreal, colourful and perhaps eerie worlds. But in the end it's all for Miki, right?
Expect gimmicks, needle, bosses and a bit of adventure. There's also a 4th area that takes a completely different spin from the fangame formula!
I hope you enjoy!

Really polished atmospheric adventure game. I won't go too much into details about what's good about the game because it's basically everything regarding the level design and the visuals. There is a lot of variety with unique and creative gimmicks and the platforming feels smooth and never really get tedious minus maybe 1-2 saves near the end, if I had to rate it only based on the platforming I honestly could have gave it 10. Atmosphere is a bit random but that's what you could expect from a game inspired by yume nikki. Bosses were enjoyable even if most kinda felt filler since they were really easy and fast, I really enjoyed the one that looks like potatoe with legs tho.
What follow will be full of spoilers about what I didn't like about the game:
While I really like the idea of stage 4 and that visuals and atmosphere was top tier, the execution felt a bit too linear (and the waiting for the bus was honestly a bit too long considering that stupid dudes like me are able to go back to the snowfield because they didn't saw the doors at the very top meaning I took the bus 3 times).
I didn't mind the being of secrets, they were cleverly hidden, however I really disliked the being of memes in some of these. I know that riktoi is also a meme guy but they felt totally out of place.
And lastly, the meeting with Miki felt anticlimatic. I can't deny that I had a good laugh when she stopped the fight, but that and the fact that the friend ending immediatly triggers the credits make the end feel like rushed. Add the fact that true end is just one big room of block needle without any more dialogues or lore add, it just doesn't feel worth to go for it.
That said, it's of course a game I would recommend and it's really cool to have more good games at that difficulty considering that most of great active makers release things in the 60-75 range when it's not 90 diff.

Great atmospheric needleventure game of decent length. Overall it's very enjoyable and has great production value. There's some bonus content too!
The only real complaint i have is that the gimmicks don't really get introduced well.
Can definitely recommend!

Severely underrated fangame. It's filled with gimmicks and unique gameplay, and it's extremely enjoyable from start to finish. One of the best fangames I have ever played. Go play it now.
