A fun and easy marathon game like adventure game, that has enjoyable gameplay from start to finish. The third level has a really stupid concept though, as it makes you rebeat the entire level if you didn't find all keys. Most of them are basically impossible to miss, except the first one, unless you pay really close attention

There's no doubt this is a classic colab game. Basically an anthology with a bunch of different styles emulating various famous game franchises (Metroid, Kirby, etc.). The narrative, framing and voice work is such a treasure, and exactly what I want to be seeing from high quality fangames. Despite that, this game will only be as enjoyable as the individual segments, and my experience was mixed. The Kirby stage was pretty boring and the Metroid game was frustrating. Still, it can't dampen a compelling overall experience. Recommended.

Every experience of this game I enjoyed greatly from Stage 1 to 4. However, the final boss phase 1 wasn't very fun to play for me and I did get a little annoyed there. Phase 2 however was much better. Overall would reccomend for a beginner experience

Save the Ship is a fantastic adventure game that harkens back to the classic style of fangames, replicating several iconic franchises from Mega Man to Metroid. The game has some nice humor, and a little bit of extra production value brought by voice acting. Each area is unique and fun, with each capturing some of the feel of the game they're based on, mixed with fangame charm. The highlight of the game is the Metroid area, which has a fun hunt for items and a climatic boss fight. Overall, the game is fantastic with a wide array of different things bringing a lot of enjoyment. If you're an adventure fan, do yourself a favor and add this to your "to play" list.
