Fangame is my Fav Fangame so I am happy that we got a sequel
I always loved Fangame because imo it was one of the few fangames that really captured the vision of the original IWBTG and made it even better.
Fangame Unlimited has a very different vision though. It feels much more polished and proper in its game design. (like alot of popular modern fangames) Also it focuses alot more on exploration. I'm not sure if I like the combination of one hit deaths + exploration but to be fair this game features an easy mode which gives you 3 hitpoints.
I like that this game tries so appeal to many different tastes within the IWBTG Community by featuring Needle and Avoidance stuff but personally I couldn't care less about these subgenres. The avoidance is mixed in nicely with the Boss Battles which is cool.
The Dungeons have some 4D Level Design y'all! Pretty cool. They are well designed. Gimmicks are properly introduced and used creatively. Problem is: I liked guy and fangame because they don't follow proper game design rules. They hit you with weird new stuff every 2-3 Screens
Loved the La Mulana Rep. Would be cool if there were some riddles. I personally liked the block pushing puzzles and felt smart after cleaing them but maybe if I hadn't played La Mulana before and knew what to expect, maybe I wouldn't have enjoyed them as much.
Did not like the Gun level (because it was just a few screens too long for my tastes) but the artist being credited right after was cute
Pac Man Joke got me
Also I found it a bit odd in the begining that the game references Wonderboy 3 more than it references itself. I was kinda a bit dissapointed when I went into the tower that inside it looked like in Wonderboy 3 instead of how it looked in Fangame.
Good game I excited!

One of the few fangames I'd recommend to people outside the IWBTG fangame sphere, which is pretty high praise from me, for what it's worth. Really looking forward to the finished product!
