Long and great Needleventure game
Up to Chapter 5b was an easy 10/10 for me. Unfortunately at that point in Chapter 5 I felt a stark decline in quality. Starting with a long maze that clearly over stayed its welcome and the boss being my least favorite in the game. Chapter 5c was alright mostly but I was left wondering where was the charm from before gone. Final Boss finally brought the game back to a high note for me.

The needle at the start of the game is fine, it definitely feels a bit dated but there's nothing terrible about it. The avoidance is the star of the show and it's got it's issues, some poor balance in some attacks, a kind of annoying intro to learn, but despite the issues I think it's pretty fun and chill. It's pretty easy to just play casually and you can get to the end consistently which is nice, and makes the more questionable attacks like the double curving with invisible bullets less egregious. If you don't mind the occasionally silly situation then this is probably gonna be a decent enough time.
