L/Precision Needle was a concept I never liked from the moment I saw them. They always gave me the impression that they are not (meant to be) enjoyable to play with them being a series of super precise jumps that often feel that they're trying to strain your hands. Also at least a good portion of the L games I saw on Delfruit tend to have the worst visuals I saw. Like why do you use such a color scheme, background or whatever (take the L's visuals are simple thankfully)?
It's not the kind of Needle I actively hate to the point of refusing to play them. I just wouldn't go out of my way to play an L game, until now.
Hearing that take the L is a good start as it's designed to be an easier L Needle to get into the genre, I decided to take a real honest look at L games as a concept and I have to say that it was a good experience. I probably won't be playing more of them but take the L made me dislike the genre less than I did all those years ago.

extremely inoffensive and generic game with one interesting quirk about it. it isn't anything to do with the game itself or anything found within it, nor the game files. it has something to do with this page you're on right now
this game is currently the only known case I know of where a game has duplicate, entirely identical screenshots!!! the two screenshots submitted by tomomath are completely identical. don't remove this though it’d be kinda funny if it stayed this way

very poorly designed Sunspike-like with an insultingly awful boss at the end. the needle is semi-alright, however it has numerous unfun and downright miserable jumps the farther you get into the game. most notably, one of the strangest and most unfun jumps I've ever done is what looks like 8000 diagonals in one fell swoop. the music is nothing, the visuals are nothing and are greatly derivative of Sunspike with little to no interesting changes and the game overall has no atmosphere or anything too interesting about it
another thing that is quite intriguing is that this game also contains one of the worst avoidances I've ever had the displeasure of sitting through. a bunch of random, strange, laggy, unpredictable, sloppily-designed attacks that make no sense and are often unreadable and luck-based. the song is barely listenable, as it can more closely be attributed to noise than music. these aforementioned greatly unfun attacks also loop. they loop a lot. it really is the cherry on top to this entire malformed game

decently well-made and a fitting sequel to PromethiuM. unfortunately, it capitalizes on PromethiuM's issues a bit too much - there's difficult offscreen jumps and various choke jumps which are more egregious than in PromethiuM due to the notably higher difficulty. save balance is slightly all over the place - some saves took 10-20 minutes while others I first-tried without thinking much of them. I like the visual style, music, sprites and overall idea of the game. to me, it's quite memorable and worth playing even if it isn't really your thing
PromethiuM-likes should be more of a thing, as I think various other makers could pull off the idea of a 3x3 room needle game with interesting pathing quite well

Partysu III will officially be remembered as the world's fastest fumbling of a game I've seen to date. to put it shortly: the game is fine from floors 1-48, it'd be somewhere around an 8. floors 49 and 50 make the game considerably and irredeemably worse, undoing all the fun the previous floors contained. I've never been so shocked at a game's sudden horrendousness that it felt unreal. I've never had the experience of witnessing a game become so insanely terrible within such a short timespan. I had honestly considered not giving a quality rating because of how difficult it would be to settle on a realistic, fair and accurate score. instead, I've given it the middle ground - between 1.5 and 8.5
floors 1-48 truly are somewhat fun, with only some rare hiccoughs that are passable fairly quickly with little annoyance. however, something about the insulting nature of the balancing makes even these floors not play too well. the game likes to follow very difficult saves by pitifully easy saves. be it to make fun of you or to put you through some sort of rollercoaster of emotions, it isn't very enjoyable. of course, the difference between these floors and 49+50 is a blatantly stark contrast, so this issue will easily become minute after clearing the game
additionally, there exists a required dplane due to poor needle design. need I say more?

Overall amazing game, the only stage that felt kind of unsatisfying was stage 2.
stage 3 and especially 4 are very subtle to play compared to some other needles.
