Skyclad is kinda like a prototype for Scapegoat in some ways, a lot of ideas in this game ended up being repurposed for that one, although this game still has it's own merits. The final stage is mildly tedious but besides that the game is pretty sick, good traps, good gimmicks, fun platforming and bosses, it basically has everything you'd want out of an adventure game. It's very short but for what it is, it's quite strong and I had a good time. Definitely worth your time.

It very much embodies an old fangame in terms of design and style, although it's maybe a bit less well executed than some of the classics of the time period. The game is loaded with really bad trap placements at the end of saves, difficulty balance doesn't exist, the bosses are a very mixed bag and usually kinda forgettable, with the giygas and koffing bosses being especially weak, and there's just a lot of boring gameplay. With that said there are cool things, I like the mario world quite a bit and there's a few clever bits here and there. There's nothing offensively bad here especially since it's not a very tough game, but it's also not a great experience.

Very interesting first stages with beautiful pleasant colors and good jumps.Personally, I feel that the various tricks in the game are very interesting, but the stages with a clean needle are inferior in variety, in my opinion, they are also much easier than the rest of the game. In this regard, the beginning of the game was more difficult than the second part of it, since the stage with the shot for the extra jump, the stage with the inversion were quite difficult. All screens are not saved. Of the disadvantages, I will highlight a certain heterogeneity, there is no feeling that you are playing the same game, rather different versions of different games.I also consider it unsuccessful to end the game with 3 screens without saving in a row.The first screen is almost as difficult as the whole game, followed by 2 more simpler screens, but still it looks a little unfair, given the total complexity of the game before that. Still, it's a good overall game, and I've never regretted it.

Cool avoidance with a chill song. The black bar part is pretty hard to figure out, but you can figure out when you see where the projectiles go. RNG in the second half is just tight enough to be fair. I would recommend playing this game.

Rating based on hitless clear.
Never try hitless. This avoidance's hitless is one of the evilest gamble game in the whole avoidance history. There is an astonishing number of purely luck-based attacks sprinkled everywhere. Basically only the first section isn't completely luck-based.
