I wish the Tutorial gimmicks were used in the other stages too, they were fun to use, especially the glider. Also one of the stages feels so much easier then the other 3 it feels a bit odd. Can recommend.

Ooparts IV is a really fun adventure game featuring various simple but fun platforming gimmicks and enjoyable bosses. Hagoe as a maker has a very distinct style that's even after all this time still found in this game, even though it makes it feel dated in some parts it creates a very classic feel to the game.
The platforming is mostly really fun. The gimmicks are used pretty well and there are no major stages that felt unfun, just a few occasional jumps that felt out of place. (The random 9 jump and the breaking block drop for example.)
The bosses are solid. They're generally pretty standard, featuring mostly simple barrage-like attacks. I do feel the hard part was usually at the end and with some of the bosses being a bit slow paced it was teetering at the edge of being annoying sometimes.
Overall this is a great classic feeling adventure game by a maker who really refined their style, while still feeling very "Ooparts". Can recommend.

Needle takes a dip in quality after the first boss but then kinda makes up. Final boss is insane and I don't know what to think of it.

Cool adventure game with 4 stages and a bunch of random ideas. The platforming is well made and accessible, and the ideas are fun and creative. There's really not much more you can ask for.
I did encounter a weird bug where music would stop playing after a while and I had to restart the game to fix it, most likely a memory leak issue.
