The needle is very basic and changes music and tileset every screen, so don't get too attached to anything. Also you can do a skip or 2 on almost every screen.
The avoidance is okay, but it has 1 attack right near the end where the cherries have broken hitboxes (presumably 32x32 squares but haven't checked to confirm). This game is fine, but man those hitboxes are gross.

I think you already know much about this game, so I'll just say that this is really great game for everyone. My hardest game was original IWBTG game, so this one is kinda like a biig jump for me in difficulty, but it was absolutely worth it, not only because this game is hard and can improve your skill a lot, but because its very well-made.
