Burnmind is the A-side
Freezemind is the B-side
Basically a remixed version of burnmind with its own unique ideas. I liked burnmind so I also like this game too. All of my praise for burnmind could be applied here. My only issue with this game is the delayed action "gimmick" in the Crimson Needle 3 area, god that was a pain. It is kinda oversaturated with a lot of visual challenges and some "lmao" humor, which is a shame since burnmind also did this and did it right. Honestly, it just does not feel right in this game. If you ignore some of these factors, it would be a fun gimimck-centric game minus the very wonky difficulty curve (RNG dependent). I am kinda sad this game tanked from "downgrade sequel syndrome" as it had a lot of good ideas, though the game has its upsides that raise the score a bit.
My favorite areas were the sideways gravity jump area, the endless walking area, the changing gravity vaporwave area, the slippery snow area, the planet area, the shadow-y bubby area, and the jaws-like area with the expanding and shrinking parts.

Three utterly horrendous screens of needle (with the last save having a jump that apparently requires a double cactus...) followed by one of the rawest avoidances I've ever seen (which is also insane and has a bunch of luck checks)

I beat both the sky and the cave path. Both were rather boring needle areas with some terrible difficulty balance and random really hard generic jumps. The sky stage had a moving platform screen that was terrible and the cave area had a drop that was the worst part of the game for me. I liked the speedrun segment in the cave though. That was a cool thing that happened.

Very unorthodox adventure, at least in terms of level design, the actual game structure is pretty basic, but there's a lot interesting things in this game which make for a very unique experience. All the stages feel entirely different, some having their own gimmicks or mechanics, and the game has a ton of content, 8 main stages with a very long final stage with multiple bosses and parts. With so much content there's bound to be stuff you don't like, for me it was the bomberman stage which was kinda just awful, and the dark mansion wasn't great either, but I do think there's a lot to enjoy here, and I definitely believe this game is overhated. If you like old adventure, you'll probably enjoy this to some degree.
