The premise of this game had me worried, but my expectations were beyond blown away. This game stands up to, and even surpasses some of the greats with its creativity and jump diversity. LOVE this.

As nicely and respectfully as possible, the worst thing I have ever played bar none. Nothing works whatsoever, everything is specifically designed to waste as much time as possible, the bosses are all literally mashing, the jetpack is absolutely infuriating with a room that is just genuinely the worst thing I've ever seen, and nearly every single minute of playing this game I was wishing that I could go back to Groovy even. +0.1 for the single screen that wasn't cancerous and +0.1 to the touhou inspired boss, purely for the idea itself and not for the gameplay.

literally how is this not on steam. how is this free.

Overlord is a super ambitious game. There's so many inner workings that could go completely sideways, gimmicks that could damper the experience, and just so much damn content that you would think that there would be something major that seems annoying or out of place. The most surprising thing about this is that it ALL works. Every single last corner of this game is absolutely brimming with passion, and there's so many surprises that you'll never get bored. There are so many ways this game could've gone wrong and it managed to avoid all of them. Absurd.

Besides a few minor gripes this is genuinely a perfect fangame for what it is trying to accomplish. Please play this, and play it blind.

For: Jason's Journey

The desert area is probably one of my favorite areas I've ever played, and ironically enough, the rocket kid was one of my least favorite additions. The only major gripe besides the rocket kid was the fact that a good half of the gimmicks are purely cycles. The bosses and rest of the areas were super fun! Would recommend.

Very fun game! A good portion of the stages were quite good, some of the original ones rubbed me the wrong way but those were few and far between. Boss 3 is probably the only part of the game where I have a ton of gripes, and a lot of Boss 5 felt luck based despite not really being that way. Hiddow's stage is a major highlight, genuinely some of the most fun I've had in platforming. Also, the second phase of the final fight was much harder than the rest of the fight. Overall a must-play!
