Kill The Guy is one of those fangames which really just needs no introduction. It's so iconic, timeless despite never being finished, and poignant in it's brief runtime, that it's extremely easy to see why the game has the reputation it does. Extremely good and clever gameplay, combined with fun bosses makes for one of the most consistently enjoyable adventure games ever made even in the modern era. It ends abruptly, and is quite anticlimactic in many areas due it not being finished, but that doesn't matter much to me. What's here is top notch, and always will be. A pillar of the community for good reason.

I think this is a really great game! Its not trying to be too professional and it's trolls are pretty funny. My only problem is with the bosses. Mecha birdo is just spam and the dude is really bad because the bullets can pass right through him. Overall pretty good but just kind of generic.

An avoidance that gives off sudoku vibes. That's not a bad thing as this was fun. A few instagibs and transitions were annoying tho. Song choice was also pretty funny. It's sorta easy and for a first project it was kinda decent.

One of the most unique fangames I've ever played, it has a lot of funny traps/sequences which are quite memorable and give the game a super unique identity you can't really find elsewhere. At the same time, the gameplay could certainly be a bit better in some places, as it's mostly unremarkable trap gameplay, with pretty nonexistent bosses, although the final boss is quite cool. Overall it's more so a visual spectacle than a gameplay one, something I'm not super keen on, but I still had a good time.

GOBOU is one of the wildest fangames I have ever seen or played. The game has an entirely unique atmosphere, vibe, platforming, bosses, basically anything you'd expect out of a fangame is absent from GOBOU, and in it's place are a completely unique take on fangame gameplay, unlike really anything else I've played. The fundamental concept behind the game is a weapon system, which starts basic but evolves into a skill tree, where you can pick and choose the abilities that suit the particular section best. This is very rewarding to experiment and play around with, even if I did not do so much on my own playthrough. There are some grievances however, the game starts so basic that I found myself getting a bit bored at times, and the bosses, while there are some good ones, suffer from their own set of issues, mainly some being far too easy, and some being a little annoying. I can't say I disliked this game though, I think everyone should at least LOOK at it at some point. It's truly wild that it even exists, and I'm happy I played it.

One of my favourite avoidances. Maintains a level ground between ambition and balancing which makes for some extremely fun gameplay and out of the blue attacks that are a great pleasure to learn. My only complaint is a really precise pattern placed about a minute into the avoidance - this is the avoidance's one and only downfall, though. 110% worth playing.
