Unfortunately that one frustrating save tight fulljumpy jump refresher jump sequence sticks out more when the game is short

A story about a mini kongkongi who goes on a grand quest to "save" all the other kongkongi. Truly, a masterful work, never before have I seen a fangame bring forth such emotion. The mini kongkongi's decent into darkness is so masterfully written, on the level of Breaking Bad, or Death Note. The honorable beginning, destroying evil monsters to protect his friends, and then his rationalizing of his own brutality, venturing into the monster's homes to preemptively murder them. Finally, his breaking point, as he searches for ever more power, willing to sacrifice anything for the greater good. I was crying in my seat as I watched him turn against his once best friend, dark kongkongi, before finally realizing that while he may have the power he sought, it means nothing as he stares across the barren wasteland of the portal room.

Super fun game, there's a combination of solid needle and solid bosses which make this a very enjoyable experience from start to finish, for the most part. The needle stages are pretty basic as far as needle goes, but there's the occasional moving object or unique obstacle which adds a little bit of flavor, and there's not really any annoying or uncomfortable jumps. The bosses are pretty neat as well, they kinda take a backseat to the needle in terms of difficulty, as they are all short and simple, but the two major exceptions are the last two bosses. The pre-final boss is kinda annoying, easily the weakest part of the game for me, but I like the final avoidance, it's got some fun attacks and is satisfying to play. Overall this game is pretty good, definite recommendation.
