Deviate is a really solid adventure game that knows how to keep the pace rolling.
It's seemingly inspired by another fangame called Call Me It, but as someone who has never played that I can say this definitely stands on its own feet independently. As mentioned, the pace is pretty quick so within a hour you'll have done quite a lot of stuff ranging from a trap stage to a puzzle stage to even an avoidance with an emphasis on platforming. That avoidance is really fun, and the final boss later on is also pretty solid since you get a checkpoint for every new attack it uses.
Overall, if you want to play a good old fashioned adventure game with some interesting elements you should check this out. Definitely a recommendation from me.

Pretty fun little trapventure game with flashy production, some neat gimmicks and its fair share of funny moments, capped off with an avoidance.
As others have said, the avoidance is a little bit shaky and is a throwback to the olden days of fangames where an adventure game's pacing gets a bit slapped around because of one, but nonetheless, the game is fully enjoyable up to that point and ducking out on the avoidance is fully understandable. I didn't hate the avoidance, by any means, but some of the attacks were awkward and the basically last frame instagib is a real disappointment.
Definitely recommended if you like trap/adventure games and you're the kind of person who doesn't mind a bit of a difficulty spike avoidance at the end, or doesn't mind skipping out on a final boss.
