Only Arzztt would have had that inside the box...
If you were to judge this game simply by its look, you would probably dismiss it as a low-production meme, however, it is known that making decisions based on intuitions is always a sign of bad FBI agents. Once you take a bite, you'll realize just how delicious this adventure game is.
The game revolves around a circular hub in which you must complete Side Stories in order to unlock the route to the final stage. These levels are incredibly varied and truly show you the wackiness and absurdity of both Arzztt and his inspirations. One moment you're chasing after a dog making sure not to get too far away (like a single foot), and the next you're helping Majima manage his Cabaret Club. At some point, you'll realize having a high school diploma might actually be good, and at another point, you'll understand parallel parking is absolutely fucking impossible and an abomination of mankind. You'll even have to make a trip to Home Depot in order to brutally murder the Handyman, (real-life experience may not help with this one). Each of these is a fully unique concept that made me excited to see what's next, you won't get variation like this from other games so easily.
I'd write more, but I think this is one of those games better experienced for yourself. I enjoyed this quite a lot, and am so glad I saw an "L-I" in my soda this morning.

A cheerful if somewhat lethargic at times avoidance. It's a vocaloid song with a fairly laid-back tempo, most of the attacks are in two parts (a 'prep' and 'launch' phase), and everything is made of apples. Only learny in a few very small parts, it feels like completing this only took me as long as it did (~4 hours) because I'm just not used to this style, not because it was overly difficult. The vast majority of the attacks are fun to go through, but the extended pattern barrage for the first chorus was not my favorite just because it includes zero rng spice of any kind. Almost every other attack is either a straightforward pattern or has some rng thrown in, making them much more fun to interact with. 90% of my deaths were to the yellow star or the red circle immediately after. I recommend watching a video for those parts if you don't want to bash your head against a wall.
Like almost every other avoidance I have played, my experience with this game would probably have been infinitely more enjoyable with either an HP mode, practice availability, or both. I don't think this is necessarily a controversial opinion, and many games in this genre are simply artifacts of their time—no practice because practice didn't exist or wasn't codified back then, etc.. As a result, I don't hold any personal grudge against this game or any other games missing these features, but it does affect my 'rating' of them in that it overall negatively impacts my experience when these quality of life implementations are missing.
Still highly recommended to anyone interested in checking out a fairly traditional 'easter-style' vocaloid avoidance. I overcame it during a crest of the first 'grudge' cycle... what will your journey be like?

I don't think this is necessarily a controversial opinion, and many games in this genre are simply artifacts of their time—no practice because practice didn't exist or wasn't codified back then, etc.. As a result, I don't hold any personal grudge against this game or any other games missing these features, but it does affect my 'rating' of them in that it overall negatively impacts my experience when these quality of life implementations are missing.
Still highly recommended to anyone interested in checking out a fairly traditional 'easter-style' vocaloid avoidance. I overcame it during a crest of the first 'grudge' cycle... what will your journey be like?

Just Jumpscare!!!
Actual Review: Well, it’s a classic just game. But i am unsure how to actually rate it. The needle is still very hard, but all impossible jumps have been removed. It’s still insanely difficult. But i will say the avoidance is actually pretty fun. That’s all I gotta say

A pleasant adventure in the style of Celeste. Traps didn't annoy me personally, even when they killed me before the finish.
The game is not very big, but it is interesting. I would recommend it to beginners. The only thing that can be difficult is the final boss, which requires effort.
