Good game with some really cool gimmicks, however I agree with cloud that some movements are very unpleasant and particularly near the beginning (involving every shift release on bumpers for example). Some cycles involving speed changers also felt "try until it works" which is not very pleasant to grind.
Game says that there are easter eggs and gives you cable (????) at the end but I have no idea of their use.

Cleared this game a while ago and decided to review it. Well... The platforming stages were mostly fine for an old-school game, just the usual generic traps cherries and they added enemies too but I don't remember which stage. The bosses apart from The first cherry boss, the two dragon fights and maybe the stickman avoidance as well, you can beat in only a few goes involve plenty of luck and require a lot of mashing. The final boss got me more frustrated than anything else in the game. Sure, its not a very long fight but the second phase caused a lot trouble during the time I played it. Donkey Kong boss and boss 6 weren't great either.
Honestly, the game is ok to play if you're into bizarre games but it wouldn't feel great for your fingers. Autofire would be recommended also to make the experience a little memorable.

The first two stages are good, bordering on great. From there, it steadily deteriorates. The biggest problems are the visuals—specifically, the complete lack of contrast between spikes and background—and randomly over-precise shit thrown into otherwise imprecise saves to force a certain difficulty level. The water stage is also a big problem for the abovementioned reason, as well as how slow each segment plays.
The fifth stage deserves special mention for using a black background and spikes that have black borders. Oh, and the last save has no save in the middle, presumably to make it feel more "epic" but in reality just makes it more annoying to grind because the pacing and flow of the save aren't designed around a longer screen.
Play Witch's Tower instead of this.
