This game was kinda fun. I enjoyed the stages. Bosses were ok as well. Some creative gimmicks as well. Worth a play. Something is wrong with the second boss. Once you beat it and die in another area. The boss uses two attacks at the same time compared to the first time. I don't know if it's a glitch but it doesn't seem possible to beat now.

As for the game itself, I found it to be well rounded experience, aside from some parts like Big Kid and the chase and the last save of lovetrap.
As for being a remake, I'm kind of disappointed that it never took the full opportunity to work on my problems I had with K2. The horribly boring introduction and very hard to learn avoidance at Geezer is still there and I am annoyed by the fact that the Big Kid chase still has the cheap placement of traps.
But putting aside that, I do recommend playing this instead of the original if you can as it removes most of the bugs of the original, not to mention that the 2nd phase of the final boss looks better for me compared to the previous.

Generic jumps, precise but not overly so, short saves consisting of 2 jumps on average - the hallmarks of junk food needle, and it's pretty good at being that. Don't expect anything more though.

I softlocked by jumping on a gravity arrow and saving afterwards. If it's a joke it's pretty mean, being near the end of the game.
I have nothing against auto saves, the length was ok too.
Downside is you can skip half of the last screen with an additional ledge jump, but otherwise it's a fine game. Not too hard at all.
If you like generic needle this can be fun.
