Some pretty fun trap platforming, mostly enjoyable bosses, and an avoidance that I don't completely hate come together to form one of my favorite old fangames.

The needle leading up to the avoidance was pretty fun, except for the very last room. I saw in a video that there's also an extra needle stage with increased difficulty after the avoidance. No rating since I'm not going to beat the avoidance or extra, but I'd say the initial needle stages are around 45.

There's nothing worthwhile here at all. Restarting guy rock, default assets, generic spike traps every 5 steps, the game is also way too long and will test your patience. Complete waste of time

A great little adventure game suitable for beginners but with enough interesting aspects to be worth playing even if you're more experienced. It fits Erik's signature style, with the nice art, clean production and focus on whimsical enemies.
Overall it doesn't break any new ground from his other works so much, but refines aspects and keeps an engaging style. The real drawback on this one is the color palette. It's consistent and creates an interesting atmosphere but it does (despite the update) have some visibility issues. This feels like its rarely a problem in the main game but the extra boss definitely still had it. Not enough to really hurt the game but definitely a consideration he's had for future projects (which is always great to see gamemaking as a refinement process).
Overall anyone looking for a 1-2 hour length adventure game should check this out - its fun and has a good amount of variety in its enemies and interactions to be interesting even if you're experienced enough to not find it particularly challenging.
