There is an English translation for this, which is kind of faulty and unclear but you can still make sense of the main story being told. I don't get the logic of having a separate fangame for the English translation since the game is literally the same; do that for fangames having "Easy Ver."
Anyway, the game has a very nice idea which is narrative storytelling, something you will seldom see. It's a psychological journey of self-exploration in order to regain memories about your past, and the True End really sends an effective shock.
Level design in general is uneven and faulty, with most of the ideas being bland. It's all about the story, really. Maybe I am blaming myself more this time: the visuals show dedication, but they don't appeal to me. It's pretty monotonous. You require the secrets for the True End, and they are not that hard to figure out: the "secret" route is kinda obvious, if not in your face.
Despite my disliking for it, I do recommend it because it tries to tell a story like a moving book and the final reveal in True End is a face punch. It has an unbalanced difficulty curve for beginners, but it should do the trick now that the language barrier has been (mostly) eliminated.
The game deserves publicity for at least attempting something, so post all your reviews here so the number goes up instead of spreading them between the original version and the English version.

Very brief and simple fangame, except for two (rather cool) bosses which ramp up the difficulty quite a bit and are too long, so die once and you'll have to grind another four minutes at the least. That might be punishing for a beginner fangame. Still, it is worth a shot. Last screen preserves the tradition of bad translations for NES games. I always laugh with that.

An easy good rating from me since I am naturally inclined to like non-linear, dreamlike and surreal experiences, especially since the atmosphere is so well constructed and the soundtrack kicks butt all the way to the East. Exceptional visuals and sounds, nightmarish when it needs to. Please do mind that you require all items to advance into the story, and some of them are hidden.
Going "with ideas on the run" sometimes brings better results than planning them ahead. I do recommend it. Now bring me a longer, full-scaled experience!

I dont like Avoidance in general, so when i play one i usually dont write stuff about it. I just be like 'Yeah okay i played that' and continue with my day.
But i just have to write something for this because the entire time while i played that i feld so much hate for this one. Unfair RNG, way too fast bullets, unpredictable attacks, unbalanced af. The worst punishment for dying is that you have to do the lame intro attack all over again. And that one curving circle near the end made me wanna die.
Like i said i dont usually write stuff about avoidance but that one is by far the worst fangame i've ever played and probably the worst thing i was allowed witnessed. The only reason why i played it for so long is because its in my fangame challenge.
Just skip this one you dont miss anything at all here.

This game could be completed on medium fairly easily, but very hard or even impossible mode is a whole other story. You need to have a lot of patience to play through very hard/impossible mode, I am still currently busy with very hard mode, because every time I get to floors 90-99 I die and get sent back to floor 76 (I get it, I am a noob).
So yeah, if you wanna play this game on very hard or impossible mode, make sure that you are not as bad as me in the game and make sure you got a lot of patience, because if you are impatient it could cause you to make the most stupid mistakes and send you back down a couple floors.
BTW this game is good for beginners if you choose to play on medium
