This really is quite good, but it's a daggone shame it's so short. Luckily, it's the first in a three-part series! What's that? No other part has been released? It's been three years? Oh... well, nevermind.
Nonetheless, this is an excellent game built on mood and an abstract story-telling method that gives you very little to go on: the name of the game, the general mood, and the ending. There's also the fact that you have no double jump immediately and this is granted to you by a feather which is illuminated by heavenly rays, but that tells less concerning some sort of plot. There seems to be this apocalyptic tone throughout the game, based on the rather somber music and dilapidated saves combined with the fogginess.
The needle itself is quite enjoyable as well, leaving nothing to be desired. I would be quite happy to see the series go on, but alas, all we have is this one amazing amuse-bouche.

The pathing + needle was pretty enjoyable, but the game felt like it was too long for how little it switched things up. Good game regardless, though.

Most of the difficulty comes in through the bad visuals. The background obfuscates the blocks and spikes in certain areas and is overall not great to look at. The needle too is merely okay, so certainly not worth the time nor effort to play, especially since the game felt way longer than it needed to be.
Summer has made good games, this is not one of them.

EchoVision is a really cool game that really can only be called a fangame because of the double jump and spikes. Nonetheless, this is a great game that doesn't overstay its welcome at all and leaves you wanting more.
The core gimmick is that you're a block who creates light waves in order to illuminate the level surrounding you. After a while, the level slips back into darkness, however, at which point you'll have to create another light wave, of which you only have four. This "only having four" bit makes things more problematic, but eventually there will be refill orbs found throughout the level. Speaking of, most of the levels left a bit to be desired as more often than not they were each just upgraded variants of the previous levels. The final level, however, I felt best exemplified the qualities of the game.
I was pretty happy with the experience of EchoVision, and should there be a longer sequel released ever, I'll be first in line to give it a go.

Jump the Panda is another AutumnWater game that doesn't attempt to re-invent the wheel, though it does switch things up a little by growing in a pair of teeth - that is to say, try and implement some actual difficulty.
The game is split into two stages, the first one being a non-descript, sort of ugly stage (except for the cute pandas) that is extremely easy, and the second one being the real meat of the game. This stage was almost entirely annoying with jumps that were not any fun to pull off, and it was also quite repetitive due to every screen essentially being played twice (you go through normally, then backwards).
All in all, this is not AutumnWater's finest hour.

Nice relaxing needle. Last two screens are such a fucking difficulty spike though, 6,000 of my 11,000 deaths were on them. Great aesthetic and music though, makes the game significantly more enjoyable. Probably would've been a 7/10 if the difficulty of the last screens wasnt as big of a spike.

For: I Wanna Defeat The Eater Of Dreams
This game was quite a treat to play the way it was set up. A well rounded adventure with a bit of a chase scene for a couple of the areas. Would have liked to have fought a boss at the end though but awesome job with the game.
