Very underwhelming needle with basic visuals. I see potential in the maker but this game didn’t capture their potential.

Very cute. I would love another game like this with added difficulty, but designing stuff outside of your skill level typically isn’t a good idea. Very good game and atmosphere and I’m looking forward to more games from this creator.

Great beginner game.

Cleared again for FSR.

This has probably the best graphics I've ever seen in a fangame, but it's really short and easy even on hard mode lol.

A nice game with extraordinary amounts of polish.

It can't really be understated the amount of hard work that clearly went into this game. It's already known that GayWiz took several leaps that most would consider unreasonable or unneeded for a fangame in order to give the game the freshest coat of paint you could find. The game just for that reason alone is pretty commendable.

I find, however, that the gameplay never really goes beyond 'kind of enjoyable, I guess'. I played this on release and after playing through a couple stages, I turned it off and never turned it back on again until recently. It's not because the game was bad, but it's honestly so easy and 'accessible' that I find the gameplay lacks any real personality. The gimmicks aren't bad but aren't pushed and just feel like a lot of different ways to make traveling feel different without changing gameplay much.

This is a similar feeling I get with a lot of highly polished adventure games from the western sphere; Endless amounts of effort into aesthetics to polish an average game. This isn't a game I can really see myself going back to or replaying, and even sitting here typing this I couldn't really tell you any memorable screen of platforming. My time playing this ended up being a 5 hour long journey of 'It isn't bad, I guess.' Nothing annoyed me or I found unfun, but at the end of the day, I think it's a game that has a lot of form but no substance.

I did quite enjoy the final boss though.

It's a fun screen of needle based entirely on platform jumps and one long ride. Having said that, the visuals are very basic minus the aesthetically pleasing crystallised background, and the entire game is just that one screen.

I'd look forward to a more concrete packed game full of screens like this, as a fan of platform-based needle.

This game is a huge mixed bag, that I think just barely nets it an above average rating. There's a lot in this game that's frustrating and just not fun to play. A lot of stages are zoomed in which makes it feel like you're moving faster when you're not, and sometimes can make sections confusing, since you can't look at the whole picture of what you're supposed to do. I feel like removing the zoom would greatly enhance the experience, the final stage specifically could've been really fun if it wasn't there. Another big problem is the bosses, every boss is super simple (except for two of them), and they all have unskippable intros (the true final boss lets you skip the intro, but not completely, as you still have to wait 5 seconds after pressing "s") which gets really annoying after a while.

There is a few parts of the game I enjoyed that made my overall enjoyment of the game a net positive. The purple screenwrap stage had some clever design that was very fun to play, my only issue was it was quite short. The sideways gravity stage was also very fun, sideways gravity is one of my favorite gimmicks and the pathing that was used was a treat to see and play through. The final stage like I said early seemed like it had some good design, the zoom just ruined it for me, but I can still see some merit in it. The second phase of the true final boss was a nice epic way to end the game, but it fell flat, since as far as I can tell, it had two attacks and lasts about 45 seconds. Those two attacks were cool I guess, but it still felt kinda anti-climatic to end on something that simple and easy.

Overall I feel like true ending isn't worth it at all, the bulk of what I feel is good in this game is all outside of extra. If you decide to play, I'd recommend stopping after regular clear.
