Unbelieveably normal, although that seems to be the intention considering the game's title. Still, it's not enough to save it from it's terribleness. Blandest graphics I've ever seen in a game combined with corridor design and most generic traps you could ever see doesn't make a good combination.

Terrible visuals, bad music, scrolling grid, generic traps, repetitive platforming. Nothing about this game is good.

The production value on this game is pretty good. The gimmicks are introduced and built upon in a fair way. The stages are also short enough to where they don't get annoying or too boring either. The bosses are nice, although I think the area for the second one is a bit too big, which makes chasing after the boss a bit tedious.

While this game is one of the most well-known fangames, throughout my time playing it I didn't enjoy it. The platforming is unenjoyable, the physics are different from literally every other fangame, the visual challenge screens are terrible, the music restarts, etc etc etc. My main issue is that the game likes to have the old fangame meta of "stupid traps which you're going to get instagibbed by". The bosses, one of the "best parts", are just mashfests full of once again, instagibs. I quit this game at the final boss because i realized that I was having 0 fun and was only continuing because I had to, which is not something I look for in a fangame. To quote someone else,
"Boshy is a good game if you don't care about gameplay"
I don't recommend this game, even for nostalgia. Other reviews elaborate on this better, but I had to put my opinion up there too.
