Really well made needle game that is both aesthetically pleasing and creatively challenging. You will find lots of interesting jumps through this 50 floor journey, but some jumps do feel more annoying than amusing, especially in the last two stages. The entire game is set in a hallucination and this aspect is intertwined with the graphics cleverly. The soundtrack also is great and fits the game perfectly.
The minor gripes I have with the game are the weird design choices that seemed questionable, like the absence of visual savepoints and the fact that there is no death and time counter. These are really small and petty issues in a game chock full of amazing content. Would definitely recommend if you like needle.

If I had to describe this game in one sentence, it would be "This is Super Meat Boy but with new levels and IWBTG's physics"

I Wanna be the Siroonoire is a pretty standard fangame, lots of gimmicks that you've already seen on other fangames like refreshers and ice blocks are used on this one, and while it doesn't do anything too interesting with them it's still good and works just fine. One of the gimmicks that I really liked was the one with the colored blocks and locks that actually made you think. Graphics do what they need to do. If it's a level with a wooden background then the spikes and blocks have wooden textures, there's a little nitpick is that there's some random star that falls sometimes that doesn't kill and is just there to have something happening in the background. Not a big fan of that idea. Music isn't also really remarkable, it doesn't reset after you die so that's a plus.
Overall I would just say it's alright, there's nothing really remarkable or memorable about this one except maybe the puzzle stage. There's no story and no ending so the game just ends after a some screens on stage 4. You can probably beat it in around 20-30 minutes

An amazing collection of games by resident auteur Derf. The games contained in here are guaranteed to bring shock, awe, and fun to anybody who enjoys needle and aesthetic.
The first game in the collection is Small Man 4, which is a fun "hoax game" as Derf calls it. It makes use of an interesting gimmick and has fun level design. It also has a great aesthetic that reminds me of playing on a game boy color, and a trippy final boss. This is one of the easier games in the collection coming in at about a 50/100.
Next up is XIFT, which is a strange and bizarre needle game with precise original jumps, and many many saves. You will need as many as you can have though, as Derf was able to cook up jumps that you will likely never see anywhere else. This game is around the difficulty of the other games in this collection, at about a 75/100
Rendez-vous is a game I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I did, but I loved it. In it, you have 10 screens of needle, each one increasing in difficulty by 10. So the first room is a 10/100 the second room a 20/100 and so on. Once again, the game has a strange aesthetic, nice music, and strange jumps. I was only able to make it to floor 8 (that means my difficulty skill is 80/100) but the point of this game is to set it to your own difficulty, so I am not going to give it a rating.
Peanuts: This is a game I actually played when it came out, I loved it than, and love it now. Needle Enthusiasts may hate it because the screen is zoomed in, leading to the occasional cheap death, and I think the physics are slightly different (not sure on this), but the aesthetic and such is worth playing it for. (Its about a 45/100)
"Might my Mighty Might Wanna be the Guy" is quite a title, but is a rather simple game. It is a dotkid game that focuses on exploring the many collision detection issues of gamemaker 8.0 by using dotkid to jump through walls in certain areas, and cutting spikes. It ends with an unfinished avoidance. The game is probably a 70/100
I Wanna Get Through Hyades is a Commodore 64 esque shooter. I have not made it very far in this game yet, but from what I saw, it looked like it was worth your time
I Wanna Drive On Toward Death Through the Cooling Twilight is what Derf refers to as, "...An HD remaster of I Wanna be a Brute of a Man..." He has made the graphics and music much better, and nerfed the game to make it both possible, and enjoyable. I have not beaten this one yet, but am still attempting to finish it. So far this is the hardest game in the collection (Probably an 83/100, not counting Rendez-vous.)
Derf also included some small extra games, such as a game pretending to be his engine, which is a shitty nearly uncontrollable single room and boss.
Another small game included is "Kinder-Wareten Test" which seems like a beta of a parody edutainment game. This is a game I wish was finished. This game is accessible even to new players with a difficulty of 30/100.
He also included .gmk files for most of the games and some .gmk files that seem to be for unreleased games that I have been meaning to look at, but haven't found the time. Overall, you can't go wrong with this collection. While experts are the ones that will get the most out of this, beginners also have several games that they can finish. I would suggest downloading this collection and giving these games a try!
