One very unique stage (loli_qc) and 7 CN1 styled stages. If you enjoy old styled needle, then you might enjoy this, but it was too much for my taste. First of all, hub screen refers to Saira's phenomenal screen in XXIII Spike. loli_qc stage kinda reminds me of Contraband, but much easier. The setup jumps are really satisfying, and overall movement is very uncommon and clean. There's one save I didn't like though, it has an awkward dplane at the end. I guess Irkara stage is also worth mentioning for having triple jump, and Chance stage for being an HP avoidance. Wilber stage is the hardest, it requires a lot of precise tough jumps that involve jtool gimmicks, the whole stage took 40% of my playtime. So overall this isn't that bad, or might be fun if you like CN1 needle, but there are better Happy Birthday games.

Pretty unique fight, as with most Ouka games it has a lot of unusual attack ideas, but the game also has a slower pace and more laid-back feeling than some of his other work, aided by the very gentle colors and song. I think it's a lot of fun, the 5 minute duration and amount of patterns might turn people away but most of them aren't too hard to learn. The RNG attacks can be silly at times, some can give evil scenarios which is par for the course for an Ouka game. The dumbest part of the game is probably how much the difficulty of attacks varies from attack to attack, there's a lot of very easy attacks but a couple are just genuinely really scary. In particular there's an attack in the infinite jump section which was much more lethal than anything else in the fight, where grey cherries spawn randomly and then all aim at you. This didn't affect my enjoyment but if you don't like super choke-able games then this might not be for you. For me at least though, it was a very chill and very fun experience.

Rating based on hitcount mode. There are lots of high quality barrage patterns in here, and it's really exhilarating when you are able to successfully dodge for a period, even in hitcount mode. For me, I think the difficulty is a detriment to it's overall rating. Definitely worth trying out hit count mode, even if you aren't an avoidance god. Thanks for making.
